| I would save 2:1 over bongs or a good pipe. I find joints and blunts to be an extremely inefficient way to smoke. My old VaporBros used to completely destroy me and a friend or two from one well-packed bowl. I would stay away from a $50 VaporGenie or something until you've had a good whip vape. The best for the money is a VaporWarez, a ripoff of the VaporBros but with a better warranty. And believe it or not, it's a damned good ripoff. I just bought an HerbalAire, and I paid a little extra to have it come with the VaporGenie. I'm a patient guy, I'm willing to play with it until I can get it to work how I want. A non-electric portable vape you use a lighter with will never have the accuracy of a good electric vaporizer. But it is portable. |

and as far as the "hands down the best vapo is a volcano" ....i know of two volcano owners who would disagree with you there. both of them had already owned a volcano when they were introduced to the ssv. one of them nearly instantly bought a ssv, boxed up their cano, and there it sits to this day, collecting dust, while their ssv wand collects hash oil from being used multiple times every day. the other guy didnt buy a ssv because his neighbor owns one. so he just goes over there all the time to get high. the vapor warez/vapor bros unit is a good starter vape. but after hitting a better vape, you WILL want to buy another one in the future. so theres where you have to stop and think....do you want to spend a chunk of change on something youre just going to replace anyways, or would you rather spend a little more on something youll never have to worry about replacing ever again¿ haha, ok, so i cant say "ever again" as the future holds technological advances that are far beyond my grasp, but still. oh yeah, and here is a set of vids i made i sat down in front of the camera and vaped a gram. i dont have any fancy video editing software, so it was a straight shoot and upload. thus the breaking into many parts. well, that plus towards the end i ran into a "no room left on any of my tapes" fiasco. | Hey tokinGLX, I know the SSV is a superior vape compared to the VaporBros/Warez in terms of construction and appearance, but how are the hits better? It seems like an identical unit once you get to the guts. |

| it more thoroughly vapes the cannabinoids at the higher temperatures. take into consideration the straight glass cylinder surrounding the heating element on the vapor bros. now compare that to the L shape of the glass around the heating element of the ssv. because the airflow around a 90 degree bend is not a direct flow, some of the hot air recirculates in an eddy like fashion, effectively heating more air that may not be properly temped as it is going into the bowl. if you are that concerned about it, try your best to get ahold of the owners of the vapor bros company. i cant tell you which 2 it was, but two of the heads of the company were at a party where i had a ssv set up. i thought they were just regular ol folk at first, and when they said they were familiar with whip vapes already, i was quick to mention that this one was far superior to any other whip vape on the market. this made both of them skeptical, but after a couple hits each, they both agreed with me. after they left, my friend leaned over and told me who they were/worked for. this was at a party in vegas on 4/20 of 07, if any of you question my intergrity, and look to confirm. |

| Good stuff. I took a good look at the SSV and I like it. If I ever get another whip vape that'll be the one. I love the black model. |
