Good morning (too early, ugh! )

1) I can't seem to find any shippers on Ebay / Google for the vaporwarez residing in Canada.

I've found "knock offs?" on Ebay from Canadian sellers, ($70 range), see:

I really think my wife, and maybe even me, would prefer a smaller more discrete pipe sized vaporizer than the big ones. Not sure if they work as good as the big ones.

I travel to the USA every day for work, I don't want customs seeing me ordering a gigantic bong looking thing...

2) Among my smoker friends and wife, I've yet to convince over Vaporizers.. I've used the "uses 1/2 the weed" and healthier bit.. but they still prefer joints. I still like joints, I just want more options, especially for when the stash gets low.. Any other good ways to convince folk?

Go directly to the VaporWarez.com website and order one there. It'll cost $20 more than the sellers on eBay charge, but they do ship to Canada.

The VaporWarez is a teak box five inches high, four inches wide, and six inches deep. You could put four of them in a shoe box. Is that too big? They're sold as herbal vaporizers, not for the use of illicit drugs. If customs had any problem with them, I'm sure VaporWarez.com wouldn't try to ship them there.

They don't, largely because they don't have any way to maintain an exact temperature.

Have you, your wife, or your smoker friends ever actually tried vaporizing? I'm not sure why you want to convince these other folks, but the best way is to let them try yours and see if they like it. If they don't, it's their loss.

Vapir One and quality in the same sentence. I shouldn't laugh. The current version (5.0) may well turn out to be reliable. They say they've plugged the leaks and the fan is better. Too soon to tell. The previous versions may well have been the most unreliable of all name brand vapes. Lots of fan failures. The nice feature on this vape is that it'll do bags or direct draw. For a little more $ you get the same functions with the herbalAire, and without the plastic taste. If you want bag delivery that brand is your best buy. AND it's made in Canada.

As for a pipe sized vape, you're talking about a non electric vape like the VaporGenie. A butane powered vape will provide vapor, but it's harder to master. Most vapes aren't that big. A box type like the Vaporwarez is about 5" high. The herbalAire is 6" (about 8" with the bag connector on).

You have to have some kind of motivation to switch to vaporizing. It's healthier, much less smell (and much better), it conserves weed, has much less of the 'sleepy high' of smoke. If none of those benefits move you, you'll have no interest in vaping.
