It must vary from unit to unit. I would say mine starts at noon and is at full power around 11. It wont vape anything unless it is just below full power.

I understand this is a no frills vape, and I do love my Buddha because it works great, but I don't think it would have killed them to at least put some notches or numbers on here to give a better indication of your power level.

Oh well. Things like this are why I own a box of sharpies.

This happened to me too, pretty fuckign easy to happen to. They need to come up with a better whip or something. use some kinda alcohol just like how you would clean any glass bong or chemsitry equipment. i only had rum so i left it soaking in rum and its easier to rub off after. i woudl think vodka would be better then nothing (kinda happy i gave up drinking seein as how i am cleaning equipment with shit i used to drink. what a backwards world, alcohol is legal, a medicinal plant is not) hope this helps.

The glass heater cover has some burns on it i dont have rubbing alcohol on me right now but would 40% vodka clean the glass? Maybe just leaving it on full power for 10mins will burn off everything on the cover.

my buddha starts at about 2pm, well at off position all the way its at 12, but it doesnt click on or off till about 2pm... the max setting is at about 9pm for me, so doesnt seem like that much of a range...

but I have got good vapor hits as low as 4-6pm

anyone used the unit on its side? Would that be bad, i would want to try that in some locations where the wand may slip out

That would work. I turn my Vapolution on its side if it's appropriate for the particular load in the bowl. You'd just want to make sure it's secure and doesn't roll.

Do you turn your vapolution to vaporize solid material like ice/bubble, pollen etc.?

It goes down anytime the load is in danger of falling out of the bowl. I'd rather have it too loose in the bowl than too tight.

do you insert the tubing just an inch or so...

I just realized Ive been using it with the tube only inserted to the wand like half an inch, probally doesn't make a differance but now im putting tube all the way up could only improve the airflow / pull

in just about an inch or so from the wand. Just so that it wont come out. The more vapor that is in the glass means better wonderful scrapings later.

Got pic from Da Buddha site under wands or something like that but thats how I have mine.

thats another question I have...how do you scrape crystals and collect them?
The glass pieces that have crystals and the 3pc grinder i have bottom compartment has crystals in it..

how can u colelct such small things and be able to re use.
