When I put the cover back on and turn the buddha on it smells like metal or something is burning some definitely bad smell that I have not experianced so far so i immediately turned it off... any ideas?

Also why is the metal skirt piece between the cover and heater bent in one spot downwards towards the heater, it is very close to touching the heating element.

Why are these parts all so loose?
im afraid to turn it back on
I agree with beezleb. Contact them. Meanwhile maybe you should PM tokinGLX and see if he's got any insight. Don't know if he still has his DB but it can't hurt to check.

ya i already dropped them an email, shit im so pissed right now... guess im gonna smoke tonight...

off topic-
i came home from spring break to find my car is really messed up, was very sluggish and it was like the parking break was stuck on although the break wasnt pulled on, when i got home the front breaks nears the rims of the car were red hot ambers and there was steam coming off them. WTF, im pissed now cause my dad been driving my car from time to time to make sure its alright and he said it was working without a problem, but obviously theres something serious.

Yea I got a tracking number as soon as my order went thru, on their end. It originally said 3 days, ups picked it up, same day then ups said about 5 days, it arrived in 3 days. Was neat watching it make its way to me.

I would call them. The customer services was great I got. I made an ordering error and they corrected it no problem. Hope you get your answer quick. I think its longer if they have to blow the glass for any custom pieces.

right tokinGLX has turned me from wanting a vape to needing one (lol joking). ive been lookin in to da buddha and it seems like one of the best for the price.

$159, brilliant

question 1 da buddha is hands free right??

however i have found a Vaporizer on ebay which has had good reviews with scales (mine just broke) and a new grinder (my grinder is SOMEWHERE in my friends house, the old got high and lost it) so i need a new one of them too for $155 total

so its
Da Buddha $159 (+delivery to UK charges?)
--VS--
Vaporizer+Scales+Grinder $139 ($15 Delivery) oh and thats at the buy it now price

! HANDSFREE VaporWarez Vaporizer w SCALE & GRINDER on eBay, also, Other Tobacciana, Tobacciana, Collectibles (end time 11-Mar-08 05:52:53 GMT)

theres link to the ebay vaporizer (im still abit wary) hes had good reviews and stuff but if anyone could offer insight i would appreciate it

I generally smoke with about 6 people every night, we dont care about hassle to refill the bowl n stuff cos its gonna be the same on every vape but are there any vapes in this price range that are especially good for large groups? we have a pretty sweet setup 4 sofa's and a table in the middle for the hookah which is sweet! so as long as the whip reaches its no biggie, im high as shit right now am i rambling? sorry

weed we get i roll about 6 joints outta 1/8th and each one gets all 6 of us nicely high, the lightweight friend falls asleep alot, will the weed go further with the vape?

oh and you dont have to answer all the questions at once haha

I absolutely love Da Buddha but I have to say with 6 people that is asking a lot without some prep. Probably this applies to most other vapes but I can only speak from experience with Da Buddha.

At least with Da Buddha you do not have to grind it all up. I simply take some small scissors and chop it up pretty small and put in vape. Maybe a chop once or twice at the most as you mix the vape but it crumbles to fine powder. Then again it may be just plant material I am using. Both good and mid qualities.

This is with the understanding that 6 people will be regulars.
First, I recommend a setup where you can keep things moving along by having extra whip, wand and mouthpieces.

I like and recommend Da Buddha but any good reviewed vape that meets your style would be a good choice in my opinion. My only real thought is to have your plant material prepared ready to go and either have two wands and whips set up to go or to just be johny on the spot to fill up once the wand is done.

With 6 people, I recommend extra mouthpieces and maybe you may need some longer tubing since you seem to be spread out a bit no matter what vape you choose.

A vape will maximize your thc output from your plant material as you basically control the extraction where as traditionally burned fire does it all at once.

Good luck and hope that helped and Da Buddha is hands free. Works wonderful but I would imagine the one you were looking at is good too.

thanks for all the info, i think im probably gonna buy da buddha and if it removes the smell enough to make it safe in dorms my mate will buy the ebay one so we can test both

Lets say it smells different. Certainly better than nothing but a person who comes to where I vape who does not smoke anything can always tell.

I think all vapes are pretty much equal in this respect.

I would say though a vape is much better than smoking but it is not in the area of undetectable. In a dorm where all occupants dont mind it should be just the trick along with some air spray at key moments, like opening a door something while vaping.

Mine is 3ft but you can get larger sizes in the special parts of Da Buddha site. Possibly the hose from your hooka might even work.

mine is bent and comes close to touching but doesnt (very small gap)

is yours really not bent at all? Metal is all facing straight up?
Something is definitely up if some ppl have bent and others dont, wierd.

Also, quick question for u guys can anyone confirm this for me cause i have not noticed this before... but when u turn ur budha on to full power and it starts to heat up... can u smell anything at all? Like if i put my nose about a foot away or closer theres this noticable hot metal smell...

ive never noticed this before, im afraid something may have happened to my unit when i was transporting it home. Or maybe im just really paranoid since i got home, i want to use it but im afraid somethings not right.
