sorry, i dont have the unit anymore, so i cannot offer any advice other than calling them up when you can and talking to somebody direct about it.

have you tried fully taking the heater cover off and then back on again, making sure everything looks good along the wayż
as for the bent peice, that seems to be a standard procedure, something else you can ask them about when calling. perhaps you could report back to the forms with the reasoning behind them doing this

Hey guys,

well after much reading of this thread and many others, I decided to order a Da Buddha vaporizer exactly a week ago today. I ordered 3 day shipping to it would get to me quick too!

Well, I didn't get any kind of shipping information in email so I called them and asked them about it and made sure the address was ok. Sounded like things were ok but it hadn't been shipped yet, no biggie, this was Monday, the day after I ordered it.

On wednesday I call them and the lady says they forgot my order entirely and are shipping it with extras that day. Whoo I'm excited! But it's sunday and still no buddha =(

are you supposed to get a tracking #?? Should I call them a 3rd time? lol?

guess ill just wait another day

The sweet spot varies to each vape. For me I start at 3 and end at full. About 3 stirs and quicks chops along the way turning it up a bit with each stir/chop.

Oh Yea, Welcome to Club Buddha.

When I put the cover back on and turn the buddha on it smells like metal or something is burning some definitely bad smell that I have not experianced so far so i immediately turned it off... any ideas?

Also why is the metal skirt piece between the cover and heater bent in one spot downwards towards the heater, it is very close to touching the heating element.

Why are these parts all so loose?
im afraid to turn it back on
As I have been kicking back for the past few weeks enjoying my Buddha, the same thing happened to me but worse. As I was taking off the heater cover to clean it, the whole sleeve came off with it! Man I was bummin! The element was flopping loose. But all you have to do is put the parts back together and slip them back in. The bend on the metal your talking about is to hold a metal shim in place that's inside of the sleeve. There is also a center ring that holds the rod in an upright position. It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out. I too, noticed a metal smell when I fired it back up. But it quit smelling funny in just a few seconds. I think it might be because the shim was moved to a different position or something. The Buddha works fine now but I'm afraid of the next time I take the Cover off the same thing is gonna happin again. I don't know if this is a flaw or something but if any of you other Buddha Clubbers out there have the same problem, please let us know. Or me know. Thanks

ya so i started using it again, the smell was clearly like a ceramic heater smell...in my bathroom i got this old ceramic heater and when thats on for a while there is this ceramic smell, i think i smelling a combination of ot ceramic and a lil metal or something else. The smell isn't as bad anymore and I did vape the last few nights. Hope the smell wasn't toxic or anything, since I vaped anyways.
