I would definitly have a test session ( like on a weekend) before you try it before going to work. You will get a better buzz on the two hits off a vapor vs. a bong. I dont know what kind of work you do but if its any type of dangerous work I would be aware of your senses.

I just do dishes, nothing too sharp, haha. I just don't want to be trippin balls with candy red eyes.

One more question, since it's hands free and the wand stays held to the unit, does it burn all the product that's in there right away? Or does it remain untouched until your inhalation plays the role of the lighter?

Exactly, it will not vape until you take a puff. I like to heat my Buddha up without the whip on full blast until it gets all cherried up and toasty hot. Then I crank mine down to 7- 7:30 and then insert the loaded whip. I noticed that if you keep herbs in it and leave it in the Buddha for a while, the wand gets sticky to take out. You have to give it a good twist to get it out sometimes. But that wont happen untill you get some resin built up in your whip or if you keep it clean all the time. I kinda like the resin buildup cause if you get enough of it you can scrape it out and smoke it and it will kick butt!

The bowl gets hotter as the glass pieces stay connected longer, just like an incandescent lightbulb. Shouldn't be a big deal for a short period though. It's like sitting in front of a fire instead of in it.

I got the ssv today the indicator light works but the heater did not. Just my luck I get sent a non working one! Left it on for 10 min after unboxing it.nothing? Sad.

Bummer, let us know how 7th floor handle it. The few unfortunate issues I have seen was handled, well it was reported they handled it perfectly and professionally.

Sorry for your issue, I would request extra screens and anything else for your trouble.

Its fine as long as your vaping but if your watching tv or whatnot and are just taking a draw every now and then I recommend taking it out but if your planning on using a full bowl then you only need to take off to stir every know and then.

As long as it just does not sit their its fine.

got it working. the ceramic heater has two wires going to the power supply. one was knocked out of the connector. plugged it back in, fired it up, and now its heating as recommended before use. im doing a freakin happy dance!
