I was bummed that my Buddha didn't arrive today because the money left my account on Monday.. "oh well" I thought, I'll get it Monday or Tuesday...

WRONG.

Since Paypal SUCKS, it now takes 5 to 8 business days for payments to clear, AFTER they've been withdrawn from your account. So it looks like I'll be waiting another week and a half to join the Buddha Club.

I could cry.

That is a bummer, when you get your Budda please write a review and be sure to mention the issue with the paypal so others dont fall into that issue if it can be helped.

I'm not aware of any PayPal changes that would cause a delay like that, and if something has changed, it doesn't apply to all accounts. There's more than one way to structure a PayPal account, and the way yours is set up, you may well be correct. But PayPal wants people to use their service instead of a credit card, and delays like yours would cost them a ton of customers. When I use PP, my payments are deducted from my checking account and backed by my designated credit card. I always receive a receipt via email from PayPal just minutes after a transaction, and often a receipt from the vendor within minutes too. Many of my purchases are shipped the same day. The only delays I've had have been due to whatever issue may come up with the vendor-item out of stock, for example. I used PayPal to pay for an online purchase on 4/15 and my package was waiting for me on the front porch the next day, with ground shipping.

That's my problem, I don't have a credit card. Therefore, my address isn't "confirmed" and it takes forever for it to go through. They basically want every PP user to register a credit card to their account. Lord knows why? What's wrong with debit, why do I get the short end of the stick?

Basically, it's a lot easier for a merchant to verify backing funds with a credit card than with a debit card. Debit cards are just electronic checks, where all the backing funds have to be in your account. Credit cards are backed by a 'credit line', which may amount to thousands of dollars, and provide much more security for the merchant as well as the purchaser. If you use your debit card in a store with your pin #, and the merchant gets 'hacked', the thief has your pin # and access to all the money in your account. If your credit card or number gets stolen, you're generally only liable for $50. Debit cards have evolved from ATM cards, and are a much newer form of 'card purchase'. Protection for buyer and seller will surely improve for debit use in the future, but for now credit card use is safer for both parties.

i had to give high marks in everything.
i was not so impressed with the correspondance between myself and the 7th. i did not get the 10% by telling 'paul sent me' no biggie as i still got free ship and paid 249.00 vs 289.99 for the all metal black and silver ssv, an april special. i had asked for my glass to include any green, instead i got red/black -whip, poker, heater, knob. (btw looks great! no complaints on look) i thought id ask to see if i got it as i thought there was some customization involved with the orders. but i did see some pics of the workshop and it looks like its pretty darn busy in there.
order process was very good. im in Or and placed the order on friday 4/11 at 322pm got my email with order confirmation. i would have went with pp as payment, as im all set and use pp all the time. used my cc instead. got my ups email on 4/14 328 and rcvd order on 4/17. (i wanted it for 4/20 and ufc night)
order came and did not work.
i promptly called then emailed 7th and still today have not heard any concern for the issue i had. when i got the ssv the ceramic heater did not work, one wire was not connected properly to the powersupply. it was an easy fix! and i was on it late late that night.
as ive own 2 other vaps (ultimate vap box and the vapir v5)
the ssv is comparable in taste to my vapir with its ceramic quartz heater. i love love love the glass heater. its glass on glass as you press your whip to the glass heater. just not hands free. i quite enjoy not having GG.
the ssv i can see will need the ice chamber or the water filter that i see is all sold out on the site currently.
this thing is very nice looking. it also has a long cord which will reach to my pc, then to coffee table w/o unplugging and moving.
ive already turned a friend who was over last night to vaping. he said he would not look at his gong the same way anymore. lol. true true.
i find between 3-4 is my temp. i take deep long draws or short quick puffs, all depends how my lungs feel. small amounts of product.
i left it out last night as friends came over. nobody even asked what that black/silver thing was. it ties into my room very well as my 360 is white/black and the lcd and home audio componets are silver/black. the silver matches the silver in the room. i couldnt ask for anything better.
when i picked it up and they saw the glow it really puzzled them. when they saw the whip it then made sense. everyone really enjoyed it. im glad its mine. her name is Pixie as that is what i think of looking at the glow of the ceramic. an orange pixie stick, candy.
da budda has the same heater. its still a nice purchase for the price. i just really like the downward angle of the ssv. db doesnt need it as its gg.

OH AND HAPPY 4/20. i havent moved the whip away from my lips yet this morning. im pretty toasty. the ssv freakin rox! vap on! i may do a bag next! having choice on vap method is nice.

ok ill bump 7th to a 4 now that i got an email about the issue, gave me props for fixing it . ive already broke the cheap mouthpiece. totally my fault. picked up the whip and both ends met with a crack....
i already knew i was getting an icechamber. tho id like the wfcm but 7th is out atm. ill also be getting a heater cover. just in case. but all in all i love it. i may load my own youtube with it.

So I've been looking for a vape for awhile and finally yesterday i made the jump and bought the DB. I'm really excited about it. Once I get I'll give how it hits and stuff even though this will be my first vaporizer.
