I get from 25 draws on a bad day to high 30's draws per bowl.

Keep experimenting and find what suites you best. Start small and work your way up. There truly is not much more to it. I would imagine the most economical is to put in just enough so that just the little hour glass part is filled to the level that gives you the quality vapor you like.

it doesnt sound dumb in the least, but it does sound like you need to contact the manufacturer and tell them that your heating element is out of whack. a .5 bowl should spit out many more hits than 6 or 7.

I got mine yesterday, only thing they forgot was my mouthpiece but no big deal... was just happy to get it.

My first thought upon turning it on and preparing it the first time was how easy it is to use. Really, extremely easy, and since I took somebody's advice on here and put the dial to about 3o'clock I was ready to go. I got big draws on my first and second hits, moved the herb around a little and turned it up a little, got a few more draws, repeated again... she worked like a charm. I was also quite high considering how much I've been smoking lately of these same high quality nugs. The high is all in the head now, the only physical feeling seems to be an all around light feeling and that's it. Now that I've used it a number of times I think I've found my sweet spot, a little past 3o'clock and I can get some pretty enormous draws. I also typically get 6-8 draws, 3 of which are very big draws, off about an inch and a half of unpacked herb in the wand.

And a quick question, had anybody smoked the vapor poo? I figured it couldn't hurt if I'm desperate and have nothing else in the future... as long as it still works. Just wondering if it's worth it considering the high.

Overall I love this vaporizer, not a single complaint yet... They replied to an email of mine very promptly and sent the vaporizer and and just about everything (except a mouthpiece which I would never have used anyway) I ordered on time. Would recommend it to anybody... next I think I'm gonna order an herbalaire

Yes you can revape the vape poo. Its not as good but when nothing is else available is around it will work.

Some people concentrate it, cook with it too.

Yes you can smoke the poo. We tried loading a bowl out of curiosity and to reintroduce our ol' faithful bong to some action since we pretty much forgot about it after we got Da Buddha. It hits a little harsher and doesn't taste as good, but we were actually quite satisfied with the high we got. You have to use a little more than if it were fresh of course. It's an ok practice if you don't have any fresh stuff and really really need to be high like right now, but I'd rather be patient and save up enough to make tea/hash/baked goods.

Also, for TokinGLX, I have a question. While getting to know DB I watched your 1gC videos and was curious about you exhaling vapor into a bottle of alcohol. Could you expand on this? Do you just take a shot of the stuff when you've exhaled into the bottle a number of times?

I got my Buddha in the mail last week. Vaped with some friends on Wednesday and Thursday. It was simply incredible. Felt like a clean brownie high with all the fun of being able to sit around the table, toke up, and shoot the shit. I am never going back to smoking again.

My sweet spot seems to be around 12-1. I can easily get 20+ draws from it. I then drop it down to about 4-5 and get maybe a 8-10 more draws.*

*Stoner math. I feel these are the correct numbers, but I was pretty ripped and wasn't really counting.

yup, pretty much. im not much of an alcohol person, but my girlfriend ended up drinking it. due to the nature of alcohol, she didnt notice a major stoney effect, but she said that the shots were noticeably smoother to take and had a weedy aftertaste. for this to really be effective, id guess you wouldnt want to touch the alcohol for a long while, get a few hundred hits blown into it first

Right on tokin. I have a bottle of vodka that's close to being empty, so maybe I'll try the stuff after a solid 100 exhalations in there. I'm eager to find out how it works and maybe come up with a standard to go by for future reference. Between wand-goo that I can scrape and revape, and vape-poo that I can bake with, it'd be great to add weed-vodka to that list of goodies I get for using a vaporizer.

i plan on buying a Da Buddha this week, thanks in large part to tokinGLX and all of his very informative videos and posts about the ssv and da buddha.. As soon as i saw your 1 gram challenge video i knew a ssv was for me, but the moneys tight and once i saw that da buddha was in my price range, i knew i had to buy one...
