Thanks my friend. BTW 7th Floor packs the Da Buddha so no harm will come to the glass components. Hopefully the mailman will make a beeline to your home, but UPS hates me, they delivered my Da Buddha at 7:30ish at night. Seen them come at 10PM which sucks.

PS, I had saved the best of the best top colas of blueberry, white widow and crystal to put my Da Buddha to the test when it arrived. From 7:30 till 2AM, I was a bit in the Da Buddha zone. You'll love yours when you get it

so what temp does everyone use with da Buddha, mine should be in today, and i wanna start it off right.. ive read around some and from what ive seen its between 2-5, but i want to know from people who actually use it...

For a 1/4" layer of well grinded thouroughly dried out herb, I use 10-11 oclock from start to finish. If I add more, or the herb is an ubroken nugget, 11 to 11:30 works for me.

But here's the thing, it really doesn't matter what temp others are using,myself included, as his herb might be a little fluffier, or the other guy's herb may have more moisture etc etc.

Just do this, as you would with any vaporizer that has a temp control, after the full throttle warm up, start off as low as possible, no vapor? Try a little hotter. Just be sure to follow the Da Buddha's instructions. When you turn it on, let it warm up at full power for two or three minutes (just like the SSV, the Da Buddha's heating element gets hot very quickly) After two or three minutes, turn it down to the temp that works best for you. Then happy vaping.

My problem was this regarding vaporizers; two decades ago I tried a vaporizer for the first time, it was one of those goofy dome fishbowl top alleged vaporizer with the aluminum tray and temp control that was always to hot, burning the weed. So I dismissed vaporizers for 20 years as crap. Only a few years ago did I run into a bud with a Volcano, tried it and wanted it. So I bought my own and my cats sole mission in life was to try to pop the toppits brat schlauch bag. Cats and bags aren't the best combo.
So I bought a cheap china made Digi Vape (one day a bud fell into the electronics and my house lost power and the Digi Vape caught on fire lol) So I fixed it and decided I wanted more. A buddy was going off to Afganistan, so he sold me his SSV. SSV was stolen from my car when transporting it to a disabled friend of mine to try to convince him he should be using a vape for his medicinal needs.

So my Da Buddha was a replacement for my stolen SSV, and maybe fate played a hand in this, as I love the Da Buddha better than the SSV.

uuh....... orderd da buddha on monday with three day shipp. called them friday to find out that the order was "misplaced".......... he said hes sending it with a free bag for me (which comes standard anyways) no discount for me.... full price, the only difference is i have to wait 2 weeks for a 3 day ship.. fuck fuck

More quality control problems . I hope they get better organized. The bag, which seems to have recently changed in design and price, is not being shipped with new units yet as far as I can tell from the site info, so look at it as a bonus. As for the 10% discount, there's no reason you can't get that. I used 'your dealer Paul from Denver' for my SSV discount. They know him well and honored the discount for me and others. You may have to call to get it done. They told me a discount code to use on-line when I ordered but it didn't take. I did get the 10% credited to my PayPal account though. You can also use '420Times' (from 420magazine.com) for 10% off. Not certain about that one for the DB, but Paul/tokin says the 10% applies to the DB as well.

I didn't realize the shipping problems were somewhat common. When I received my package it was missing the wand, the marble pick, the screens, and the manual. They did hook me up quite handily for the screw-up with two wands and mouthpieces, three marble picks, and like thirty screens. I saw on the site that they are including the bag for free now. Along with the stickers and "DBV" logo on the casing I would think now is a good time to buy Da Buddha. If they mess up your order just look at it as an opportunity to get hooked up!

So, probably not the right thread to ask in, but what's the deal with exhaling the vapor into alcohol? Does it actually work?

I'm trying to see what the effect is as well, but it seems like there are no standards to follow. I found a little 50mL bottle of vodka that I've decided to use. The plan is to get 20-30 hits in there and then take the whole shot. I haven't actually started because I need something with a wider diameter than a straw to exhale the vapors through. The straw makes exhaling a pain because you have to go so slow. Even if it succeeds I don't know if I'd continue doing it because it's such an inconvenience, but I've got to satisfy my curiosity first.

I didn't receive a bag with my order But when I ordered a spare wand, they sent three extra picks and plenty of screens.

The picks are really nice, since I have 5 of them now, three of them I'm going to take with me when I visit my sister, she lives in rural Va and theres a blacksmith a few miles from her home. Going to have the picks tips fired up, then the tips flattened and made more into spoons shape at the tip as that is more useful for me. Once made, I'll post a pic of the modification to the cool DB picks.

Well, I just received my DB yesterday as per the recommendations of everyone on this forum. First off, thank you! The unit is great and after my first vape experience last night (been smoking for 10 years) I will NEVER go back to normal smoking...it was awesome!!

One thing I am wondering is how many hits I should be getting off a typical bowl? I know this varies from unit-to-unit and depends on the grade of the material, but I have seen some people post that they are getting something like 20 hits from one pack?? I'm getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-6 and now think I should be getting more. I pack mine about 1/4" full (below the frosted glass line), warmed it up for 2-3 minutes and then vaped at around the 2 o'clock position. Any tips from anyone out there? Am I not packing enough, should I adjust the heat, move it around in between each hit? Also, should this be very loosely packed? I want to make sure I am getting the most out of the herb! Any advice would be appreciated!
