Maybe I do hit it too hard, I hit it until no vapor comes out. But you know what, I think it does show a flaw in the design. The bowls i received seem to have inconsistent dimple sizes, the dimple is barely there on one, and too big on another. Same for the bowls i re-ordered in December. That information on the website just showed up a few months ago, probably after several people complained about it. I bought mine from their website over a year ago and there was zero information about using it then. You got a little pamphlet that was incredibly vague and didn't have the information that is on the site now. The reality is, if you want to switch to vaporizing only, Vapolution isn't a good choice since you're going to have to smoke the shake like I do now. Unfortunately dry bud has been the norm for me lately so shake happens and i'm back to smoking 1/8th or so my bag because I cant use it in the vape without sucking it some through. A vape with a screen in the heat zone sounds good to me now.

Don't get me wrong, I like the product and it's my first vape so I have NO experience using another one. Great camping , and it barely gets warm on the outside, I've left it on accidentally for 24 hours on a seat cushion and again it was barely warm, definitely a safe product. And it paid for itself in the first few months by cutting my intake by about 1/3. It got me on vaping big time and i would rather vape than smoke most anytime. Hindsight being 20/20 though, I think i would have been happier spending the extra 50-70 bucks to get a larger whip model with screens.

Well, I meant drawing with too much force. Naturally you want all the vapor. And with this vape, sometimes that means you're going to overcook.

The hazards of hand blown glass. Not enough dimple would definitely be a problem. Too big is OK unless it's so fat it blocks air flow.

There was no 'how to use' section, but there was info in the FAQ section.

That's why forums like this one can be such a valuable resource. There IS info here on the Vapolution-detailed info. I've posted a bit of it myself.

I don't blame you for wanting a full sized whip vape, but I'd hang onto the Vapo too. As you say, it's great for portable use and a backup vape can come in handy.

I'm ordering my DB today and I could use a little help. I'm considering buying a custom mouthpiece and wand, but I don't want to buy them if they're just thin, single blown. To those of you with experience with 7th Floor's custom mouthpieces/wands, how well are they made?

Single blown? I don't know the ins and outs of blown glass, but their stuff is thick-heavy duty. If you want details call 'em. They've got an 800 # and they'll talk to you.

"Every wand features the patent pending quick change design! The average weight of a Silver Surfer brand wand is about 45-50 grams. Some of these beautiful wands are almost double the weight of a standard SSV wand. Man, some of these wands are THICK! "

My custom wand weights in at 100 gram lol , they're not kidding in their FAQ . But yeah , they're well worth their price in my opinion. I certainly don't feel ripped off and i've spent well over a 100$ in custom stuff from them.

QFT. The custom wands are well worth the cash if not just for the 'good feelings'. You know how important those are when you're toking...

Its vapor, not smoke. If your blowing smoke, there is no question as it is god awful.

I believe the wands are different for the SSV and DB but they can make you a custom DB wand if you want. Call them up or check out their site.

You should go to this website World's Greatest Vaporizer - Da Buddha instead of the SSV site. The wands for the SSV will fit the DaBuddha but the custom wands are bit cheaper (money wise) on the Da Buddha site. Plus the SSV QC Ground Glass Wand is not really a custom wand, it's the default wand that goes with the ground glass connection for the SSV.

(not too sure how to disable the automatic linking. Sorry if this is against the posting guidelines)
