Thanks for posting your new reviews guys. I definitely think the simplicity of design and mechanics is selling point.

I had to report back that I am super happy with my little da buddha! I am truly amazed at how effective this thing is. I've been smoking the herb for many years, even lived in the mecca of high grade herb of Humboldt County CA. while attending school at Humboldt State. Anyway, I add this bit of info cause I only wish vaporizers were around back in the early 90's while I was there consistently smoking the dankest smoke I have encountered in my 20+ years of medicating. The da buddha provides the most amazing tasting hits ever and one bowl provides easily 6-8 nice heavily dense vapor tokes. 7th Floor is the shit! I ordered my da buddha on a Friday night, by Monday morning I decided I wanted to add a water adapter to my purchase so that I could use my ice chambered water pipe, however, upon calling 7th Floor to add this to my order a very friendly 7th Floor employee (female) kindly asked me to call back the next day as the person who typically places all orders was out sick and she worked in the assembly area and couldn't complete my order. She took my info anyway and said to call back the next day to complete my order. Well, I spaced it and forgot to call back. When I got home from work that Tuesday evening my da buddha had been delivered and much to my pleasant surprise 7th Floor added the water adapter for no additional cost. Needless to say I was very impressed and even more so after I gave my da buddha a test drive. One of my good friends has a Silver Surfer and I was all set to purchase one of those units (the SSV is awesome as well) until I happened upon this thread. Reading through the various post, especially Token's I was sold. Thank you all for providing the feedback on this thread. My buddy with the Silver Surfer also agrees that da buddha is a great deal and a very good all around vaporizer as well. We both agree that there isn't much difference in the two as far as vaporing and the high (very nice clean, clear high). I just thought I would add to the list of satisfied 7th Floor customers and I highly recommend either the da buddha or the SSV (if you like the heating element angel). Get yours, you will not be disappointed! Happy vaping!

Another happy convert. Thanks for the info. If at some point you're able to use both your DB and your friend's SSV and compare, let us know what you think (your friend too) of the hits that each provides. The DB allows more air to flow through the heater cover than the SSV, so the SSV should give you a richer vapor mix for the same size hit.

I just bit too, after so much positive review and my interest in the SSV this Budha vaporizer is simply the best for the price! SSV is out of my price range but now im able to essentially have an equal product that is less flashy and even smaller. I'll post my experiences with it as well once I receive and use it. Question, can someone tell me the actual size/dimensions of this unit? I'm gonna be using this in a dorm setting during the school year. Thank you.

I have only had a chance to use a vaporizer one other time. It was a Volcano but unfortunately I did not get anything from it because I was 6th in a line of 7 for the bag. Anyways I decided to dive in after 5 years of smoking and get my own vaporizer. This thread is what sold me on Da Buddha. When I get mine in this week I'll throw my two cents in!

Hello, I have been thinking about getting a vape for a while (have had experience with a friend's and love the idea of not "smoking"). Upon doing some research about different vapes I came upon this topic and am happy to say that I ordered my Buddha last night. Can't wait for this weekend. I have one question, mainly directed at Tokin. I noticed that you said you save your vapeash. I'm assuming you cook with it, do you end up getting any THC that does not come out after vaping? What do you "cook"? Thanks for all the great reviews. Looking forward to my Da Buddha!!

| not so much the thc, but the cannabinoids that are left in the vapeash are effectively extracted by cooking with it. ive been meaning on getting some alcohol and trying an extraction like that, just havent really gotten around to it. easiest method ive found is to get some reusable tea bags and make a real strong tea concoction.

Ah thanks, I will give that a try. I definitely am excited and will post a review for sure. Just an update: I received my shipment confirmation from UPS today but it seems they wanted to ship it to my billing address and not my actual location. Called them up, and they were very friendly and fixed the problem before it went out. Seem like awesome people that work there. Last edited by Bravekd : 02-18-2008 at 10:39 PM.
