Better air flow on the SSV

gotcha. was hoping for something a little more specific, but hey no worries
so, is there a difference between the db, ssv and the vapor tower when unit quality comes in to play¿
how about heat up time for all three both units¿ is there is a noticeable difference in the hit between the ssv and the vt¿
is there a clear winner in difference of ease of loading/unloading in your opinion¿

not trying to get personal, just trying to pick apart the reasoning for your rankings of the three vapes you listed that you have tried

Question How slow am I?

Man guys sorry it took me so long to get around to posting on here. I wish I had an excuse other than I am lazy but I don't!

That picture was exactly how mine looked. I don't think it is to much of a big deal. I just took it apart and bent it back into place and it seems to be working alright.

I say that because I got the Buddha and now I barely have any green! I only had enough for 2 sessions and that is not nearly enough to get the hang of it. Fortunately my guy gets back into town from NYC today with some funk.

When I actually get a good session with mine I will be back on here with my story. I do, however, have a couple of questions to other Buddha buds based my experience so far:

1. Typically where do you guys put the dial of your Buddha? From what little time I have spent with mine it seems mine needs to stay on full or just under full power to work. I just want to make sure mine is heating properly.

2. Is the heating element in anyone else's leaning to one side? Mine leans slightly to the left and I am worried this could be sign of a loose connection.

Keep the good posts coming!

I'm kinda leaning towards the Vaportower as the winner

Although it's not as pretty as the SSV & the DB and it lacks in the accessory dept, the quality, engineering, taste, are unmatched. I can't say much beyond that because the maker of the SSV & DB is good friends with the maker of the Vaportower, and the maker of the Vaportower has asked me not to pick apart his buddies work.

The Digital V Tower I felt had alot of options, but was poorly constructed.

Purpose has an admitted association with Vaporstore, which produces the VaporTower, so I'd keep that in mind .

I haven't used the VaporTower, but I've seen some user reviews. A plus is the 2 piece whip design, which is necessary for the vertical insertion angle. It's also a minus IMO, in that you have to take the whip apart to reload. Also, the straight up design of the whip forces you to place the unit lower than you may like and very close to your sitting position as well, to avoid tipping it over. Setting it on an end table next to your easy chair is not a good option unless it's a really low table. The V-Tower/Extreme has the same vertical airflow, but its glass connector changes the whip angle to horizontal and it swivels as well, so that model(s) has a much more convenient design as far as vape placement goes.

The other things that turned me off to the VaporTower are construction quality and quality control. One buyer reported that his first unit arrived broken (but functional), and I assume it was the box that was broken to some extent. He also complained about the cheap wood used and lack of fit and finish. His replacement unit had a heating element that was considerably slower to reach vaping temp (10-15 min vs. 5 min for the first unit). I don't know how it hits and that's a matter of personal taste to some degree, so it may suit a lot of people in its functionality to the point where it's well worth putting up with sub par ergonomics and construction issues.

On the DB I typically start at around the 3 o'clock position and eventually end up with it cranked.

My heating element is slightly cock eyed to the the left and it heats up by the time I get a bowl ready. Within 3 minutes at the longest I would think, certainly less than five. I also have no idea what burned material smells like from the DB as I have never burned any.

I never came close to knocking it over, its very well constructed in my opinion. I cant honestly find anything wrong with it besides it doesnt come with one of those fancy kief catching grinders, unless you order one and some starter material but hey, what you gonna do hehe.

I think if you select a vaporizer that matches your smoking style you will be happy with whatever choice. Sometimes people get too far into what vape is better and worse. The truth be told, most people likely have limited experience with other vapes and for those that they may have some experience is probably owned by someone else so while their experiences have value understanding that not everyone with experiences with other vapes likely do not know the little nuances of the vape.

I looked at many sites, opinions, reviews and for me Da Buddha was the answer. What the answer is for someone else is not for me or anyone else to say.

I like Da Buddha, but its also the only vape I have experience with. Here what others have to say and weigh that to your style.

Your right I am kinda partial to my tower, that's the second reason I didn't really want to comment. But me and the Vaporstore are no longer communicating, and I stand to gain nothing from what I say here. What I'm thinking is your friend bought a b stock unit, these unit's are sold at a discount because of peeling paint, cracked or scratched wood, minor blemishes. The quality of my unit is excellent I've gotten 3 unit's from the Vaporstore, 2 Vaporbox, and 1 Vaportower all solid, all quality.

well, i am partial to the ssv and the db because of their near indestructable quality of composition. can you take your vapor tower, held in one hand, and bang it(with muscle, not just a light tap) against a hardwood desk/bench, or on the floor¿

lets take a real world accident scenario.
hypothetically, let us take a hit from all three units at once. the phone rings, so we reach out with the free hand and are grabbing for that when....a fucking bird flys/crashes in through the open screened window!!(or insert any random unforseeable act here), you jolt in surprise and your arm pushes forward, and now your vaporizer is freefalling onto the floor below. how many times do you think each unit will be able withstand a fall before breaking¿

i find it interesting that you are such good friends with the maker of the vapor tower that you want to respect the friendship between them and the ssv crew, but why should that keep you from saying what makes the ssv worse than the vt in terms of engineering¿

i apologise if this is not the case, but it looks to me like youre doging any direct answers in regards to the ssv/db.

have you used each unit long enough to be comparing them to the vapor tower¿

how many times do you have to take the wand off to stir/pulverize the bowl¿ that seems like a very large inconvenience when compared to any regular whip vape.

I have dropped it several times, I'm in a electric wheelchair and run into the 3ft tabe it sits on. I use the party bowl and I don't stir, I have returned to the same bowl 2 and 3 days.
