I'm pretty pumped! I've finally found a way to get a few good hits off hardly anything.. I was replacing the screen and it snugly lodged itself right ABOVE the clear hourglass section, so I only have to put a little bit. My only concern is that the screen will get too heated in the glass heater, and perhaps let off not harsh chemicals. What do you guys think?

Where was the screen placed before? My wand came with the screen above the hourglass section, and I thought that's where they were supposed to be judging by wand pictures on Da Buddha site.

Oh I just noticed the tiny hourglass part inside the wand. I thought the hourglass was the half inch clear part, right below the part you stick in the heater. That's where my first screen was placed too, now it's above that so it's actually in the glass heater.

First, I have a buddy thats a 100% disabled vet that's semi confined to his house and confined to his wheelchair and never tried a vaporizer, but he smokes herbage to deal with his pain, so I put my SSV in a metal travel case and went to get some gas. Went inside to get a soda and came back to my car and my SSV and aluminum travel case was stolen from my car.
I didn't really have the money to replace the SSV and I ordered a Vapir One 5.0 (my plan was to give this Vapir to my buddy, as he's on a limited fixed income and I knew a Vape is what he needs, at the time I forgot about the Da Buddha being that it's about the same cost as a Vapir, this thread did remind me that I needed to order a Da Buddha to replace my stolen SSV)

So anyway, I ordered the Vapir from a site that had free 2 day shipping. Four days do by with not so much as a confirmation purchase e-mail. Turns out they were out of stock. I call them and they say I'll get it in about a week, so I canceled the order.

I then forgot all about the Da Buddha for $169, and ordered that to replace my stolen SSV. Place the order direct from 7th floor, but the payment screen was borked, it just wouldn't work with my credit card. So I select the Paypal instant Payment option, got the order number and I paid extra for expedited shipping as I was hoping to get this on my birthday.

Days go by and My birthday comes and goes with not so much as a e-mail with tracking for my Da Buddha. Called them up and they made a mistake, they thought I sent a Paypal echeck, which I didn't.

So I spoke to them and they said they would refund me my expedited shipping costs because it was their error (They didn't as far as I can tell)

So anyway, My Da Buddha will be here tomorrow.

Oh Yeah, Not even going to mention my back up box vaporizer that had a bud fall into the electronics and bridged the positive and negative 120v terminals inside the box, which resulted in my house losing power for a few moments and the box itself catching on fire. (got some pictures of the box, but since gutted the electronics and rewired it myself, I guess being an engineer came in handy) Been using this firetrap ever since my loss of my beloved SSV. But I unplug the thing after it's used, even though I'm sure it won't catch on fire again. Also had to wait several weeks for my Zombie Kif box, but that came a few days ago and was well worth the wait. But tomorrow will be a good day, as my Da Buddha is almost here.

Ps, Soon as the Da Buddha gets here, I'll see if I like the perpendicular Da Buddha, if not; I'll probably going to bring it to the machine shop and fabricate a canting base like my SSV had.

Perhaps It will be the 1st modified Da Buddha, and I may change the hole to be like that of my stolen SSV. I'll call it the Da ssv Buddha

Then again, since theres a frickin conspiracy to aggravate me with all things related to Vapes, so until I actually have it in my hands, I'm not counting my chickens just yet

It took me 3/8ths of herb to finally find out I can get at least twice as many hits out of my bud as I was before... I think I may have been burning it a little putting the knob past 3o'clock because it used to smell like burnt popcorn after just a few hits but at that point 2 wasn't doing anything... Now it seems as if 2 is absolutely perfect, sorta weird. I'm liking it a lot more now, I can see how it preserves bud... plus before I wasn't taking deep breaths before every hit

I really wanna try some pakalolo or strawberry cough with this.

Got my Da Buddha at 7PM last night (gotta love UPS delivering at night)
This may sound crazy, but I like the Da Buddha better than I liked the SSV. In this thread I had noticed that many people imho seem to have their Da Buddhas a bit to hot. I turn mine on all the way to max, let it warm up for a couple minutes, then turn the dial to 10 or 11 o'clock, wait a few moments for the temp to stabilize, then vaping the WW, Crystal and Blueberry I tried last night.

Going to order a couple extra Da Buddha wands today, as I'm the king of breaking wands
Not going to buy any of the colored ones as I prefer clear glass wands, as I like to see the vapor stream in the wand, you can easily tell when the vape material is near its end by the color of the vapor stream. (you can taste it to, but seeing it is my preference)

The only thing I'm going to mod on the Da Buddha is add this light, as I prefer whatever whip style vape to have a built in light for viewing the vapor, plus having a light on board makes it easier when watching a movie in a dimly lit room.

PS, I love the Da Buddha, but still will be looking for the clown that stole my SSV. Especially going to keep my eye on Ebay for locally sold SSV's.

10-11 o clock, i thought the proper temp was between 2 and 4 o clock...(still waiting on mine to be delivered as i type this)
