I believe that using a vaporizer would just destroy the "fun" of actually "smoking" marijuana. I have never tried a vape and, im not saying its bad in anyway shape or form, and im sure it does the job, and dont knock it till you've tried it, although, i just feel that smoking a good old fashion joint would be much more "pleasing". Does anyone else feel the same way?

Absolutely not---- Vapes use less weed to get me more high. What can be more "fun" than getting higher than usual, using smaller amounts of herb? I'm no more "pleased after a joint than after a vape session. Also, weed TASTES 1000x better when vaped. I introduced vaping to a friend who had been smoking for 30 years or better. We each vapes a load, and later decided to load a bowl. He took one hiot off the pipe (somethjing he's done thousands of times in his life) and said "That tastes like SHIT compared to "that other thing" (the vaporizer). The taste, smell, and high are, IMO, all superior when vaping, which makes vaping the winner as far as "fun" goes

Other than the taste, smoking, IMO, is much funner and more pleasing, as you stated. You cant blow a ring with vapors hahaha. The high is like apples to oranges.

I don't believe any "fun" is lost vaporizing. I use about half the herb vaping vs. smoking, and I'm getting just as much out of vaping as smoking. Not to mention vaping is not harmful to the lungs like smoking. I just don't like smoking anymore.

Do you really think you'll get a lot of votes for smoke here on the vaporizer forum? Surveys and Polls would have been a better place to start your thread.

I always say you have to have some kind of motivation to switch from smoke to vapor. Otherwise, the novelty will wear off. Whether it's the much healthier aspect, different high, better taste of vapor, easier on the lungs (which was mine), stealth (no smoke smell), or just trying to stretch your supply, there has to be some kind of motivating factor to prompt the switch. Cost of hardware can be a factor, as long as you're not buying pricey pipes/bongs to smoke from. If you're young and smoke doesn't bother you yet, and the social aspect of smoking is important to you, then light up. For me, the only advantage smoking has is ease of use, and that's one small plus against a lot of minuses.

I have more fun vaporizing than I did smoking. Vaporizing is a all around better MJ experience for me. Maybe smoking is your thing. But, it's not like when you get a vape you could never smoke again. My buddy smokes every once in a while, he says it's old school and reminds him of times past. Don't dog it til you try it though right?

I like the ritualistic element of smoking. For some reason passing a joint or a bong just "feels" right. That being said, my volcano gets the majority of my weed when I'm by myself.

I like Vaping WAY more, but damn it hurts my throat like crazy It hurts way more than any smoke!

speak for your brand of vaporizer there buddy, because i know youre not talking about mine. with ssv hits, i can quite easily blow rings. my gf just did a string of them. i did two, and tried to blow a vapor arrow through both of them, but the expansion got to me and i coughed out the rest on the second "arrow"

Those are my thoughts exactly. I tried vaporizing for a while...and although I enjoyed the high and efficiency, I guess I'm just an 'old school stoner'!
