Since most vaporizer owners in this forum like to vaporize as the norm, I thought it would be informative for us if we all just smoked for one weekend(no vaporizing) and then came back here and gave our thoughts. Only someone who has been only vaporizing for a few months or more can really look back after smoking and maybe describe the difference between the two vividly, be sure to smoke more than one time(one weekend won't kill you). I'll do this next weekend Feb 01, 08 if anyone wants to join me. Then I'll give my .02 on what I remember about smoking and how it feels now. I've only set fire one time in the last year, and the high seemed cool but I couldn't grasp it in one time and didn't smoke again. Next weekend I'm going to pretend like vaporizers don't exist and see how I feel hopefully at least one person will join in. Please disregard this post if it seems childlike.

I only have to take one hit from a pipe to remember what smoke tastes like and how it feels on my throat and lungs. Compared to vapor...

I am curious to see what you think about it. Guess I don't have the guts to try it myself.

kind of a cool idea.. but i really doubt your gonna get any hardcore vapors to stop vaping and start smoking.. cause once ya go black you dont go back!

Strangely enough, I've just performed your experiment. I left home, vapeless, on January 16 and remained vapeless until 2 days ago. Compared to vaping, smoking was a drag. My throat hurt, my lungs hurt, my sinuses hurt, it didn't taste very good, the high was "fuzzy", and I used four grams where I would normally use two. When I got back to vaping on Wednesday, the difference was like night and day.

Compared to smoking the same weed, vaping it was almost psychedelic. A drive from Lakewood to Boulder felt like a six hour trip, though the clock said half an hour. I saw the Colorado School of Mimes, a nuclear weapons facility for sale, a creek running uphill, and ZZ Top painting lines on the highway. Was any of that real?

If I go to Colorado I'll try to hit that route.

Yeah, I heard ZZ Top's Cd sales are lagging these days and the guys are doing roadwork on the side so they can maintain their lifestyle.

I'll smoke a bowl once a month or so, only when I'm sampling a new batch for purchase. That's enough to remind me that smoke almost pushed me to complete abstinence. I'd have to agree with the differences that Buzzby listed.

You must have been crazy high! I just started vaping full time recently and I agree with you the high is definatly better and you don't feel crumbing from the smoke. I live in Lakewood as well, that is kinda crazy.

Please disregard this post if it seems childlike. __________________ I only smoke legal herbs, when I come to these forums and discuss things like smoking and the high one gets I'm referring to the feeling I get from legal herbs and have no information on what others are smokeing or reffering to. I don't smoke marijuana but do enjoy discussing and talking about legal herbs and the high from different legal smoking methods and all my post should be viewed in that light.
