Default Digital Volcano

Hey fellow pot smokers, I've always used a bubbler/bong/joint never much into vapes. I tried the vaporbrothers vaporizer a few times....the one thats a wooden box that looks like a pencil sharpener....and I got somewhat 'high' but not overly stoned. What I was wondering about the Volcano is this...

1. Does any one know where you can get a 'cheaper' digital Volcano then $1000 (what most I've seen are)

2. Can the Volcano (digital or traditional) get you 'BLOWN OUT'? I don't mean kinda high...I mean high off your ass glued to the couch watching Harold & Kumar. I usually use my roor for that, and a Volcano might just be a change of pass but I love getting BLOWN (I figure theres no reason to be 'just a little high')

Any advice would be appreciated!! (I want to try a volcano before i blow some big bucks on one but no one i know has one....so maybe some owners can descripe the FX to me?)

You don't need a Digit vs. the Volcano Classic to get a better high. The Digit advantages are small and not worth it if cost is a concern. In fact, you can get the same high from a $100 whip vape as from either model of Cano. It just takes more work and experience to get the job done right.

If you're a lover of the couch lock, wasted feeling you get from smoke, I doubt you'd prefer vapor. A lot of the sleepy, dopey 'high' we associate with smoking weed is due to toxins released with combustion. Carbon monoxide and benzene both, in high enough doses, will put you to sleep permanently. When vaping at appropriate temp, CO is at a minimum and benzene is not released at all. So the high from vaping is much more energetic than with smoke. I find that I get sleepy later on after coming down, but the initial high is more of a head high, but also a much cleaner, healthier high.

As for getting 'blown out', in general I get higher from vapor than I did with smoking. My capacity for intake is higher for one thing. It's just a different high. The strain you're using still makes a difference, but vapor vs. smoke is more of a difference IMO.

If I were you, I'd try to test drive a vape before buying one, so you can decide if it's for you or not. Or buy an inexpensive whip unit if you can't get your hands on a loaner. Vapor is vapor. The myth that a Volcano can get you higher than other good quality (but cheaper) vapes really is just a myth.

I think it depends on the dosage too. For the last 2 days I vape and pass out 20 minutes later.

If you want to get "blown out", a vaporizer is not the way to go. Vaporizers tend to give you a soaring cerebral high. If you want couchlock, stick with your bong.

I disagree. I know I have pretty weak lungs in terms of tolerance to smoke - I never smoked cigarettes and never will - so I found that vapor was much more preferable when I want to get "blown out". You just keep going until your throat can't take THC anymore, I've found - THC is a throat irritant, but it's not nearly as much as smoke is.

I prefer the high much more, for sure. You can go and do things, but you certainly can sit on the couch and watch a good movie.

Plus, the health aspect of it helps. I always feel like shit after smoking
