i don't remember for a fact, but does it make a difference if you vape nugget or shwag? As big of a difference when you smoke it?

Also, does THC go away by itself if you leave the weed in your vaporizer for a time? Or do you have to try to suck out as much as possible as soon as possible? If I leave weed at vape temp for 20 minutes - will there be anything left to vape out?

It's pretty much the same whether you smoke or vape. Better weed is still better.

It does depend on the particular vape design. Most units will heat up your weed with ambient heat-you can't leave it without losing it. I believe you have the Vapolution? The bowl goes deep into the heating chamber on that model and leaving it in for any length of time without hitting it is a bad idea. A waste of weed.

With a vape, the biggest difference is how far your stash is going to stretch. When I was vaping mids, I figured that I could get high twice as many times vaping vs. smoking. Vaping KB, I get high three to four times as many times on the same amount. I used to vape 0.3 grams of mids. I get a better effect vaping 0.1 grams of KB.

It depends on the kind of vape you're using. A conduction vape (like the BC Vape) will cook off a lot of the THC if you leave it on. A convection vape (like the VaporWarez) with a "hands-free" feature will very gradually cook off the THC because it's kept close to the heat source. A convection vape that has you apply the weed to the heat source only when you're toking won't be affected except for the very gradual degradation of the THC from being exposed to the air.

Dude, what if the vape is a volcano, and it collects into a baggy? does the thc stay in there? or does it somehow dissipate?

So...you're saying that when I use my Vapolution and wait 20 seconds between each hit (and during those 20 seconds the bowl is inside the vaporizer) I am wasting my weed?

Should I take a hit and remove the bowl and put it back 20 seconds later when doing the next hit?

I always remove the whip after I take a hit because I felt it was a bad idea to leave it on there for an extended period of time. Seemed to me that the whip/herb would get too hot if left on the heating element for a long time. Apparently from the responses here, I was right.

I don't have personal experience, but I've read that the vapor stays good in the bags for a couple of hours. Eventually, the vapors will condense out on the inner surface of the bag.
