trichs are still lost in the grinding process. if you must insist on wasting your time and using a grinder, i suggest emptying it over a piece of white paper. that will let you see most everything.
if you dont want to lose any crystals, just break off your nug, stuff it in the bowl, and take a hit. take one more if youd like. now the bug in the bowl has been dried out nicely, take your pokey and reach in there and give it a quick stir, break up the herbage. now that you have just broken it up, you will get a massive hit. hit it a few more times, then reach in there with a pair of micro scissors and chop it all up. now you can finish your bowl, stirring as necessary.

once again, a grinder is just a waste of time. not needed in the slightest when it comes to vaping with an open bowled whip type vaporizer

I disagree 100%. The herb must be ground fine so that there can be even air flow over every piece. You can't get even air flow over every piece if you just throw a bud in the whip. I know I'm not the only one who doesn't reccomend this. I know other people, as well as manufacturers that all say ground up is best for vaporizing. My own personal experience proves this to be so.

I have not seen your video. However, just for shits and giggles I did put a small unground bud in my whip once, and I had to take it out and break it up because it would not fully vaporize as a bud.

I say again: My grinder captures all separated trichomes for later use as kif. Any resin that sticks to the grinder can be captured from the alcohol used to clean it.

I suggest emptying it over a rolling tray. Then you can gather together whatever's there with the edge of a credit card.

If you want to get the most vapor out of your weed, grind it up as fine as possible short of so fine that it'll go through the screen.

Been there. Done that. I got a lot higher with the use of the grinder. If you're harvesting the ABV for later use, it doesn't matter that much because you'll catch the remaining THC. If you don't, you'll get more out of the same amount of weed if you grind it up finely.

ok. so lets review some facts here

your grinder collects the kif.
that kif is no longer in the herb, that i would have just stuffed ni the bowl.

youre emptying it on a tray(hopefully for your sake in this discussion, its not plastic) and then collecting it with a credit card...do you honestly believe you are getting 100% of the trichs¿ on both the tray and the edge of the credit card¿

did you not see where i said to break up the herb after the first couple hits¿ AFTER busting it up(in bowl) with the pokey and AFTER chopping it up with the scissors, you can take the scissors, hold them closed, and use in a mortar/pestle manner to get the herb as fine as you like it to be.

then you go on to say that you got "a lot higher" with use of the grinder. thats where you lied. its not possible to get ANY higher, much less "a lot" higher using ground weed that has been kiffed.

do you not understand this¿ have you watched the video yet¿

I need to side up with Tokin on this one. I have seen guys ( and gals) grind up their beautiful buds to a fine powder with them grinders. I saw a story that High Times did one time about government grown weed and how they processed it like a cigarette factory. By the time the finished product came along there was hardly any THC left. It was desroyed by the pulverizing and grinding much like you guys are doing with those little grinders. I'm like Tokin, the less you disturb the bud the more THC goes in your lungs!
