my vaporizer died tonight. I've got to replace it tomorrow and have about 200 to spend. The one Im replacing is a "generic" box & whip DigiVapor. I'm going to have to go to a local shop, but selection in town is slim. I'd prefer something that doesn't deliver a grip of "salad" if you don't draw perfectly. any ideas? i know they have VooDoo and Vapir, maybe the silver surfers. suggestions welcome. I want something better than the DigiVapor.

I highly recommend the Da Buddha which is the little kid brother of the silver surfer.

With shipping and everything just plain stock weighed in around 170 bucks.

sounds good, but i've got to have something asap. can't smoke where i'm at, really don't want to wait a day or two for shipping.

If you can't wait, you're at the mercy of your local vendor. Try to get a brand name. I can't recommend Vapir One/Voodoo (same exact vape), although Vapir One v.5 is supposed to be more reliable than previous versions. If you can get a Silver Surfer, I suggest you do so. Safe box brands are Vaporwarez and Vapor Bros. Give us a list of brands your local shop carries if possible. You don't want to buy another Digi Vapor, reliability wise.

I called and they have the Vapir v5, the Voodoo and they may have a sliver surfer in the back. I'm going to shoot over there in a bit. I saw a video on the Voodoo and it looked good. Anyone know how loud it actually is?

Also, the silver surfer, does it have some way to keep me from getting a mouthfull of herb every time I hit? The DigiVapor didn't and you had to draw just right.

I really dislike the Voodoo. It has too may quirks for me, i.e.-leaks, filling bags can be a pain, etc. I can't recommend that vap, as I'm sorry I ever bought it.

If you can find a box unit, such as the Vapor Warez, I'd go with that.

We'll see how this works out. Bought a voodoo. They had a handfull of generic box/whip types, a couple volcanos ( too much dough ) and a voodoo. There was a silver surfer but it was a display model and it looked like it had been "handled" a bit too much.
