Heat guns as vaporizers are totally under-rated, in my opinion. I can see where whips and volcanos have thier advantages but the heatgun/bong combo gets me more medicated than any other method.

You can pull it off with many types of bowls but finding the right one can be a little tricky. I have tried a deep, v-style regular bowl but you have to be really carefull or else you'll end up blowing your herb all over the place.

GotVape has a really cool looking glass bowl that fits right over the heat gun nozzle and has a glass on glass connector. It has a carb-handle on the side, too, which is awesome because it stays cool while the bowl gets really hot.

Basically . .it works great but is thin glass and is too fragile for the purpose. I broke it in just a few days of heavy use. I am also really annoyed at GotVape because this is some cheap cheap stuff they are selling for $40 dollars. They should be ashamed -they are taking advantage of people.

Anyway, bummed that I was going to have to be without my heatgun vape for a few days, I came up with an idea that works even better than thier bowl does . .that is, did when it was still in 1 piece.

The GotVape Vapor bowl does have one other disadvantage . .kinda . .which is it wastes weed. The amount you have to put into the bowl to get a good vape is about 6 big bongs worth so you end up wasting a lot of the vapor as you try and cover the bong with your hand between breathes.

What I did was push a screen down into my glass bong stem and put a 9mm reducer on my heat gun so the nozzle fits right into the stem. Now it vapes the perfect amount for 1 huge bong rip. I attached a spring clamp to the stem as a handle since it gets a bit hot.

So in the end a little ingenuity defeats the shady company trying to rip-off med patients and stoners. I hope everybody on here with a gun tries it out before handing over $40 (plus shipping) for a $5 piece of crap.

Don't waste your time on the GotVapor Vapor Bowls.

Thanks for the review/warning. I assume you're referring to the Universal, Fatboy, and Nitro Vaporizer bowls. They're 3 different sizes but otherwise the same. I agree $40 is a high price, especially if they're thin glass and therefore easily breakable. Unfortunately a lot of vaporizer parts and accessories are priced for big profit.

That's the one . .I got whichever one was 14mm - I think that's the Nitro.

I agree with your priced-for-big-profit comment . . it kills me how much companies are charging for some of this stuff. One of the best values, in my opinion, is the new vapor brothers unit . .and even that is really pricey @ $150. Unfortunately I don't know where to go to get/improvise thier "glass condom" thing . .otherwise I could make a vapor bros for less than 50 bucks - and they probably can make them for $25.

Being a CA 215 patient I can't even hear the word "compassion" without turning red from anger. C'Mon . .is there 1 company out there who will put together a decent unit for a fair price? Not fair compared to other vapes . .but fair in general . .compared to other products in the marketplace.

One consolation I hold on to is that I believe we are in the last days of marijuana prohibition. As soon as it ends there will be mainstream competition for all these fly-by-night scammers and that will be a huge win for patients and consumers.

They're liars.

They claim "1-5 day air shipping" when it's actually priority mail, which was sent by truck. They also claim the absolute lowest price, or they'll match it. I called them for a price match and they said "that vendor is selling it for less than the minimum allowed price so we won't match it."
