Well guys,

I got my Buddha Monday and the world of Vaporizing began........

When I took it out I was very impressed with the weight and solidness this thing has. Very sturdy unit. I carefully looked it over to make sure there was no damage in freight. All clear. We set it up in the bedroom and fired it up full blast like they tell ya, and went back for the rest of the parts. When I took the wand out I was actually quite shocked on the size of the glass wand. Very tiny I was expecting a wand that had a much larger opening to match the larger opening the Buddah has on its heater cover. The wand of the Buddah goes INSIDE if the heater cover whereas the SSv's wand goes on the OUTSIDE of the heater cover. This is definitely more of a 1-2 person type vape. Oh well, this is an issue I will deal with later.

So after 10 minutes or so, I am ready to launch

The first time we took a little nug and placed it in there nice and flat. Turned the dial down to 3/4 - 5/8 power and began. Like the book says, it is a science of air flow that everyone who hits your vapor must learn. It seemed like we weren't getting real good hits so we turned it up a little more. You have to keep trying out combinations of airflow and heat. We never took it up too far yet. Anyway, the wife enjoyed the smell and taste of it She took about 4 hits and didn't want anymore. I wasn't done yet. I just could't seem to get a killer hit. So I kept hitting it and hitting it and hitting it........then I was going to go back to my work and finish things up and I started feeling sickly. I had to go sit on the couch. I had to LAY on the couch. I had to close my eyes for a second and then I realized that it was the fucking Buddah that had just whooped my ass! Took me down for the count!! Good God, is this thing for real? Well after 20 min I started getting my shit together to where I could function. I went out with all intents of getting some stuff done but that didn't happen. When I got back the wife was on the couch and real giggly. She said she loves the buzz.

One of the things we really like about it is the almost odorless smell that you leave in the room your vaping in. We have two teenage boys so this is perfect for us!

On day two the mission for me was to get as thick a vapor hit possible on the Buddah. Kept experimenting with temps and strength of hits. And amount of herb used. I actually combusted a couple times because I wasn't hitting it hard enough. It takes practice. Like I said earlier,the wand is VERY small on the Buddah. The directions tell you to put 1/4 inch or so of herb in the bowl. Well, thats hardly enough for 4 one hitters in a regular bong one-hitter. When you go to vape it, I get one maybe two good hits and then maybe 3 weak hits. Even after my 3rd day after plenty of practice I'm not seeing the real savings of usuage yet. You still seem to be getting the same amount of hits off the same amount of weed in a joint vs. a Vaporizer. BUT the hits you do get off a Vaporizer are much more intense and tasty but only for the first 3-4 hits.

That is the only thing I didn't like was the fact you had to keep reloading it over and over because of the small bowl size.

AS far as the thicknes of the vapor, I don't see HOW you can get any thicker Vapes than the ones I was producing on my Buddah the 2nd day!! If you practice enough you can make your Vape kick your ass! I was taking some commercial weed that goes for 160- 170 oz which tasted pretty good but dry in a doobie and Vaping it. Only this time I would put in 1/2 to 3/4 inch of weed in the bowl. The shit tasted like hash and on the first two hits I was getting such intense Vapes that it would make me almost black out if I hit it too long. Very powerful hits. I am not combusting, but I am real close. But this is the way I like it. I found out that in the case of the Buddah, with it's small bowl and small area to be vaped, if you you cut up the buds nicely and put in more weed, then you get the killer Vape hits It does depend on what kind of weed your using too

As far as the Budda goes...... Hands down one of the baddest get high devices I have ever used. If your ready to take the buzz of marijuana to the next level, I highly recommend it

A grinder would probably save me some time.
