I am still on the fence. This has been going on for a week. The Budha or the extreme. I know, 2 completely different items. I don't know if I need the "balloon" option.

Well getting the buddha u would be saving over 80$ and getting one of the best whip style vapes available, you need to decide whether paying the extra is worth it to you to get the digital feature and the bag delivery system. I decided I wouldn't want the bag system cause in my mind it looks sketchy and i would feel like a tool huffing a bag, but thats just my personal opinion i decided upon after much thought and despite its benefits.

If you don't "know" whether you need the balloon option, than you probably don't. Its meant to be really convenient and for multiple peopel to use. I was thinking of getting an herbalaire with the bag system, but the buddha simply is alot more affordable to me and has everything i want, proven design, glass on glass ceramic heater.

I appreciate the feedback. If the extreme hits as well as Da Budha in the conventional method (no convection) I would probably lean that way as it would still give me balloons for the "to go" hits. The extra money is not really a concern. It is if it will perform as well. Vapor hits are new to me. A friend bought a Vapir 5.0 as basically my first introduction to it. I love the fact that it seems so much easier on my lungs. In fact, I hgaven't "smoked" since he got it. I need my own vape and from what I have seen, I would probably use it without the fan option the most but it would seem convenient to have the ballon option. I wonder if the vapor from the extrmeme will be better than the vapir 5.0?

If you are only going to use the extreme with the conventional whip method and you don't mind spending a little more money I would recommend the ssv. I like the custom glass work and think it is the best looking device around if that means anything to you. Not to mention it works great, my friend just got one and it works fantastic. Not a huge difference between my warez except it looks cooler, has hands-free, and a little better design. If you dont have the money it sounds like da budha is da way 2 go.

Hey Candleman

I ended up deciding with the Buddah based my reasearch done on this forum chatting with lots of people. 5drive has some good info on the Extreme. From my point of view I think the extreme would be best for parties where you have a lot of lungs to fill. This way you can fill up a bunch of bags in advance and also the use of the forced air vapor would probably be fun but your not really gonna get the PREMIUM hits that you will from Buddah or SSv.
Looking at these factors and the fact that Buddah comes with the hands free whip, cheaper, might not be as quite a rich hit as SSv, BUT, the fact that the heated area IS larger that SSv could equall it all out. I dont need all the fancy stuff, I just want a good hit! Plus have you seen all the options they have for the Buddah! Hell, you could make this thing as customized as the SSv. I also have some artist buddies you say they could draw some cool design or something on the outside of it

Best thing to do is your homework research and pick out one that fits your lifestyle. You could always sell your used unit to someone if you dont like it and buy a different one

Vapor is vapor. It's all about the correct temp. If you're in the right temp range you're going to get the same compounds vaporized whether you're using a $500 unit or a homemade lightbulb vape. The difference in hits is in the vapor to air ratio. Vapor from a bag is mixed with quite a bit of air and your hits will be diluted somewhat even if your bowl is loaded and your bag of vapor is so thick it looks like smoke. The Extreme, in direct draw mode, because of the large diameter of the heater tube, will give you more air per hit than the SSV, with it's small heater cover opening. The ground glass connection on the DB also provides more air flow than the SSV, so the surfer gives the highest vapor to air ratio of the three units, meaning the richest vapor hits. I would guess the DB's hits would fall in between the other two, but I haven't heard of anyone doing an A to B to C comparison yet. Tokin has confirmed that the SSV beats the DB for rich hits, so if someone will send him an Extreme for testing, we can put this question to rest.
