| I have a Vaporwarez 3G and lately I've been having some issues that might sound strange. First, I have TMJ in my jaw from medication-induced nighttime grinding. It seems when I use the vap and make that pulling/sucking motion on the mouthpiece it aggravates the TMJ pain. Also, I smoked cigs for 15 years before quitting. I am now 30 and notice very clear smokers wrinkles around my mouth from dragging on cigs. However, I also notice that hitting the vap makes the same mouth motion which is likely to make these wrinkles worse. So... I need to know if there are any vaps that do not require you to make a sucking/pulling motion with your mouth in order to extract vapor. Like one that just shoots the vapor into your mouth or something. Sounds silly but these issues are disrupting my vaping enjoyment. I love vaping and will never go back to smoking, but I need a different way. Thanks! |

"How does smoking lead to wrinkles? Smoking causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin. This impairs blood flow to your skin, depleting it of oxygen and important nutrients, such as vitamin A. Smoking also damages collagen and elastin — fibers that give your skin its strength and elasticity. As a result, skin begins to sag and wrinkle prematurely. Smoking doesn't only cause wrinkles on your face. A 2007 study found that smoking is associated with increased wrinkling and skin damage on other parts of the body, including the inner arms." Smoking: Does it cause wrinkles? - MayoClinic.com The effect on skin level blood vessels as far as producing wrinkling is a lot greater IMO than pursing your lips. And it doesn't affect everyone equally by any means. Other big contributing factors are genetics, skin type, diet, etc. I've smoked (both cigs and mj) for more years than you have, but have no wrinkling. My wife, who also smoked for years, is like you and has some wrinkling, Also, with your VaporCannon (or any whip vape that I know of), you don't really have to suck or purse your lips. With various whip/direct draw type vapes I normally use my mouth as a carb. You can just put the mouthpiece to your lips without wrapping your lips around it. Then, whether you take a long breath or short ones, you get outside air from the sides of your mouth to modulate your hit. You can slightly adjust your lips to alter air flow without having to purse or put tension on your lips. It's a lot more like normal breathing than sucking. Hitting like this may take some practice, but I find it works very well and it's second nature to me now. It lets you take hits by just slightly parting your lips-no pursing needed. My jaw and lips are perfectly relaxed when I take a hit. I think if you'll try this method you may find that it helps.

| I'm not sure a whip-style vaporizer will cause you any problems . . but sure there are vapes that don't cause you to suck to inhale. Why not get a volcano? If want you can even squeeze gently on the bag to "shoot" the vapor into your mouth vs drawing on the mouthpiece. There are other devices - like Aromed, SuperVapezilla, etc that do not require you to draw in sharply. I've never tried them. |

| I recommend a vape with a fan with a whip and bag option. I have no experience with these but here are some, names maybe misspelled: Vapir One 5.0 - Cheap (around $150) digital dual whip/bag vape. I understand it leaks and the fan is very large. Natural Goods - Quality (around $225) digital dual whip/bag vape. Extreme Vaporizer - Quality (around $299) digital dual whip/bag vape. This vape can also be used without the fan for traditional whip vape but the fan can run to. In m opinion this may be one of your best choices if your looking for all around flexibility. Volcano - Quality (around $500) analog and digital versions bag vape. Supposed to be one of if not the most efficient bag vapes on the market. Their are others but these vapes stand out to me to what your asking. I dont know about the wrinkle thing. Just some things happen and we dont get any younger so I would chalk it up to that. If it means anything to you I suggest learning how to give yourself a facial or get someone to give you one. |

| I don't think you should have to worry about wrinkles from the drawing of vapor from your warez. As 5drive explained it isn't the motion causing the wrinkles as much as the chemicals in the cigs. If you are super worried about it or if the TMJ pain is too intense maybe look into the extreme vaporizer. It has a blower so you can use it with a forced air method so you wouldn't have to suck the vapor out. Check out the video on youtube. |

Aromed, unlike other digital whip units, doesn't have a fan, so it's just another whip vape as far as drawing vapor. The Super Vapezilla, like other fan assisted digital whip vapes, uses the fan(s) more for helping to keep the temp steady than for blowing vapor. Although you can just inhale with the mouthpiece close to your mouth, again it's not a satisfying way to get vapor, and if I were going that route, I'd get the Extreme-half the price, a real warranty, 3 speed fan, and bag or whip operation.

| I have severe TMJ, and vaping never makes it worse. I don't purse my lips and suck hard on my whip either. You don't have to do that. Just slowly draw in the vapor, like breathing air. You don't purse your lips to inhale air, do you?

| The Extreme sounds awesome...I want one! Vicki, I have experimented with my drawing technique and I'm getting better. I've figured out how to do it right. Of course, maybe it's not the vaporizer at all but just the TMJ on its own. This probably belongs in a different thread or different forum but how do you cope with your TMJ? Do you find that vaping helps the pain? I am going to try 600 mg Ibuprofen for three days and wear a nightguard. It really hurts... Thanks everyone for your recommendations and advice! |

| If you haven't changed your screen in a while, I would do that. My old screen was so gunked up that it made it harder to inhale. A new screen can make a world of difference. The hits are better and it seems more efficient. |

Yeah, clean frequently for better efficiency. Residue is like a magnet for vapor.
