So the other day I cut about 2 inches off my tubing for my VaporWarez because I felt like it was just a little bit too long.

I kept the tubing and tossed it in my stash drawer (weed, paraph, papers etc.). Digging through it yesterday I came up with the idea to make a 'green screen' for the whip on a whim.

Usually all of the uncooked crystals and small particles get collected on the inside of the tubing but now they will be collected on the bud, and within the 2 inches of tubing.

This is mostly an experiment to see if you can make the bud more potent, I have no expectations, but I'm assuming all the crystals plus the constant vapor will create some extremely stony buds.

Well, I made it, thats about a joints worth of weed in it. This is the 2nd day I have been vaping with it;



That small glass piece is from a hookah I had. It came with 3 of these where the tubing connected to the inside of the hookah. It's not broken or anything, its just a small glass tubing, kind of like an off-topic pipe . I put a screen at the end of the glass tubing so I won't be sucking weed through.

I also made sure I didn't put in so much weed that it affects me taking hits. I can't even tell its in there.

What do you think of this? I'll probably take the buds out after a week to see how they have turned out.

Does anyone else have anything like this, or ever thought of something like it?

How about other modifications or accessories to your glass whip or mouthpiece? (i.e. water adapter, split tubings, etc.)

I've never done anything like this, and I don't have a glass tube like that either, or I'd give it a try myself. It's an interesting theory.

I've never done any alterations from the original design.

I have a Water Pipe Attachment.

I also have a little glass screen-type thing that was given to me by a close friend before I moved. I don't have a picture, but I'll do my best to describe it.

It fits in the back of the glass part of the whip and it's kinda a diffuser, I guess. I can pop it out and just shake the residue out onto something.

Nice idea Spiral. You're definitely saving some vapor for later. Should be some sticky stuff.

Cool idea. The only problem I see is if vapor going through the green screen is still hot enough to vape. If its cool enough than I might rig something like that up. I love the idea.

I don't think it will be hot enough to vape the weed in the glass cylinder - its 4 inches (about 10 cm) away from where my screen is. I doubt the air is going to be hot enough from that far away, wouldn't it melt the tubing?

I'm looking at it now and it already is having an almost yellow gloss to it.

No way. Too far away and vapor cools much too fast for that to be a problem.

ive been thinking about something similar to this for a long while. nicely implemented, the only problem you may come across would be having trouble taking hits due to a more restricted airflow, but keeping your screen clean should help to keep that from being too serious.

Ha, yes I will post a picture after about a week of them in here, I took them out the other day and they are brittle from so much airflow and a little bit of heat, but they are not vaporizing, its rather obvious - the buds are getting this bright shiny glaze to them!

Yeah, I was thinking the problem would be the bud becoming too dry from A) The vapor air constantly hitting it and B) The fact that it's not stored in a baggy in a cool place. Maybe 1 week is too long or maybe you can do something to help retain moisture.
