New to this board, just found it, looking to buy first vapo. I have been looking through the board here for about an hour now and found this one here on ebay. VaporWarez 3G. Now the dealer is offering for an extra $20 to add a handsfree larger bowl. so my question is, What makes it handsfree?

The heating cover has ground glass as does the whip that attaches to it. It makes it so that it stays together better so that it doesn't slip off.

The heater cover and whip/bowl are ground glass where they meet, making for a secure connection so you don't have to hold your bowl to the heat. You connect it, and just lift the mouthpiece end when you're ready for a hit. It's not really hands free during use, since you need one hand for the mouthpiece end. Some people like the hands free setup and some don't. The difference during use is that as long as the two pieces are connected, your temp increases to some degree. With a whip type vape, it's not only the temp that you set that determines how much heat you get, it's also the temp of the glass that's holding your herb. This is the case whether you have 'hands free' or not. The hands free setup is easier if there are multiple users. With a single user, just speaking for myself, the standard setup provides a little more control over how much heat is applied to the herb. I'm pretty much a single user with my whip vape, and it's easy for me, with the vape right beside me, to just pull the whip away a little after a hit, then return it to the heater cover for another when I'm ready. It's basically a matter of personal choice and getting used to the particular setup you have.

ohh ok cool! thanks, i think i want the "handsfree" because i do have people that come over and hang for a while every weekend usually. and the vapos that some friends have had they was always a hassle of the whip falling off.

I would consider a vape that wasnt hands free. My newb butt got lucky and ended up selecting a vape where that is standard hehe. Now I know its not I cant imagine why its not but im sure their are reasons too.

I know you meant 'wouldn't'. I'd consider a lightbulb if that was all I could get.

Hands free isn't standard for the same reason auto transmissions aren't standard on all cars. A lot of people don't want it and it raises the price of admission.
