I didn't question your choice of the Extreme. I've said more than once that I think it's the best dual mode vape. But your post doesn't have any specific comments on the Extreme except for your response to djelimon about detaching bags. You say more about the vapes you don't like but you don't state specific complaints except for construction. You just use the same complaints that I see in the Extreme auctions and on their site. Some of your (negative) key words- aluminum block heater, metal bowl, price, plastic and wood and cheap. And you end up saying "i like it more than the other vaporizers we have tried. they all seem expensive to me..." There aren't that many vapes selling for over $300. Or are you saying that all other vapes are overpriced? You don't think the VaporCannon is a good deal at $120? If not, why? Because it's made of wood? Please explain how that makes it a poor product in its price range.

I take it that means you can't see into the herbalAire. Correct. It is nice to see inside the bowl during whip use. This is one of the best featues of the V-Tower and Extreme. With bag use though, it makes no difference whether you can see the bowl contents. "it plugs"? What plugs? The 18 air inlet holes in the heating chamber have never plugged on mine. The screen? They all do if you don't clean them. I've never had to clean the screen in the bowl. I clean the upper screen (main mouthpiece) with alcohol once in a while. It's no big deal. IMO your herbalAire criticism is really weak, and that's as nice as I can put it.

I'd like to hear some specifics on these other vapes you've bought. We don't get many people here who have used "a lot of vapes", so I hope you'll post your opinions (with some specifics) on the appropriate thread. And I know some people would be interested in your impression of the Extreme in whip mode, with and without forced air, and how it compares to other whip vapes you've used. Other than dealing with the bag itself during use or making new ones, there's not much to compare with bag use. You put a bag on and fill it up.

I assume you mean the Vapir One. Some people don't like that one. Some do. I guess you've stated your objections to the wood vapes (cheap?). So tell us what's wrong with the SSV, other than it's whip only? I wouldn't trade it for any whip vape on the market, including the digitals that sell for twice the price.

I've read posts on more than one forum that say the Volcano is the only decent vaporizer you can buy. Does that make it so? I can find some pretty wild vape info on forums. Just because somebody posts something doesn't make it true. You can't just pick out the posts you agree with and decide they're facts and not opinions. And the Extreme uses a screen (2 of them). A metal bowl degrades the taste but a metal screen doesn't? And what about tubing taste? I've heard that criticism too. I have a Vapolution that has an all glass vapor path. It uses no screen and I don't need tubing with the AIW bowl. I can't tell any taste difference between it and my SSV, which has a metal screen and tubing. The Vapo always hits pretty smooth, because of the narrow bowl, but better taste? Not saying your taste buds aren't better than mine, just going on my experience, as you say.

Like I said, I don't question your choice of vape, just your method of posting info about it. Not much info on why you like it best, you just find fault with pretty much every vape except the Extreme, and other than supposedly bad materials, your criticisms come down to expensive or cheap. We can read the vague criticisms on arizer.com. Considering your experience with different vapes, it would be nice if you'd post some specific reasons why you don't like all the most popular vapes on the market.

5drive you don't own a SSV do you? It may be my next unit one Im sure I can get a perfect looking one I'm damn sure not paying $300 and not getting exactly what I want. I had the V-Tower but just didn't like it very much and sold it. But I had nothing to compare it to as far as electric units. It was nice but I just sold it and will rock along with my VaporStars until I get the electric fever again.

I only smoke legal herbs, when I come to these forums and discuss things like smoking and the high one gets I'm referring to the feeling I get from legal herbs and have no information on what others are smokeing or reffering to. I don't smoke marijuana but do enjoy discussing and talking about legal herbs and the high from different legal smoking methods and all my post should be viewed in that light.

Yeah I finally bought one last month. I love it. Heats up fast. Solid build. Hits great. You can get smooth ones but also some that pack a punch. Very forgiving of how you hit it too. Did I mention I love it?

Wow you must own about 6 or 7 vapes now, Hmmm that doesn't help my walet any I'll try to keep an eye out for a sale they seem to have one once a year or so, I think theres a discount if you buy more than one also I'll have to talk one of my buddies into one.

What temps do you set your Extreme vaporizers on for optimal results?

Manufacturer recommends 340 C, and that's the heater temp, not the heating chamber temp.
