Just to follow up and a tiny little da buddah review/comparison; it came in the end (although i never got my nice ceramic pokey things), with not a word from 7th floor apart from the (automated) shipping email.
In spite of that, the vape itself is very nice, with big tasty hits and a nice consistent temperature. As its my first whip vape, I dont really have anything to compare it to directly, but it certainly allows a much bigger amount to be used at once than my herbalaire, and smoking it directly is much nicer than the herbalaire equivalent. Compared to the bag fill, the herbalaire is more refined, possibly more efficient, and has no learning curve, wherease the da buddah is just like smoking a hookah or something, tasty and powerful. For flavour, direct draw definately wins. I am a bit worried about the exposed glass and element on the da buddah as any efficient device is bound to fall off the table sometime, but its well built and solid, and although exposed are recessed out of the way, so this might not be an issue.
The people I have tested these vapes on are roughly split 50:50 over which they prefer, both are excellent at what they do. Save up and buy both with all the money you save vaping I do kindof wish id spent that little bit extra to get a silver surfer, but without having said one, I cant find a single thing wrong in how the da buddah smokes, so itd only be cause its pretty.
Anyhow, it took so long to be delivered to me that I got a vapolution ultimate kit, so Ima go test that, and hope it gets sunny again so i can finally vape outside nicely.
