| Hello, I am planning on buying a vaporizor soon, and after researching the topic as much as possible I have narrowed my choice down to what seems to be the "best" two choices. In my price range I cannot afford anything over $200, and after reading many reports the two that seem the most highly regarded within this price range seem to be the Vaporwarez vapor cannon, and the Da Buddha. However Im unsure of how to decide between these two products so im looking for owners to shed some light on which may be the beter choice. What are s ome of the pros-cons of each? Any help would be much apperciated, as im looking at this purchase like an investment and want the best product for my smoking purposes. Thanks. ![]() |

| I really like the Vapor Warez hands free model. I've never owned Da Buddha, so I don't know a lot about it. I really like the 5 year warranty that the Vapor Warez has. I'm not sure what the warranty on Da Buddha is right now.

| Do you care about hands free? If so, does it matter $30 worth? $120 for a standard VaporCannon with grinder and scale is a great deal. Hands free adds $20. From the hands free warez to the DB is another $28. With the DB you can add custom glass if you want. The DB has a better whip angle but the warez can be adjusted. Screen changing should be easy on the DB. Like with the SSV, they supply a 'quick change wand'. The warez is more of a challenge with placing screens. Either one will satisfy you as far as vapor delivery and reliability. I haven't heard of anyone here having used both units, so you probably won't get an A-B comparison opinion. I'd choose on the basis of price, looks, and ergonomics-whatever aspect or combination is important to you.

| I forgot to add that there is a new two piece whip that works with the hands free Vapor Warez. It is so nice to not get frustrated changing a screen anymore. You do have to buy the whip separately, but it is SO worth it, IMO. |

| I recommend Da Buddha but its all I know. Some of those add ons for the other vape people are saying come standard with no extra charge with Da Buddha but all things equal my understanding is they are very similar in performance. Regardless of what vaporizer you choose I highly recommend the hands free feature but this is all I know. I just find it invaluable to not literally have to hold the mouthpiece to your mouth and connect the whip to the heating element. It is more about convenience for me really I think it simplifies the process dramatically. I would recommend getting some extra screens tossed in and changing the screen is easy as can be with Da Buddha. I believe you can get custom glass for both vaporizers easy enough. You can even have custom glass made by the makers of Da Buddha that will fit other vaporizers but I do not believe this to be unique to 7th floor as I have seen this option with other vaporizers regarding custom glass. I just went all stock, no money hehe and I couldnt be happier but I am sure their are many that own the other vaporizer that feel the same way. I think you are in a win win situation but for me I choose Da Buddha for its simplicity without taking away options. The fact it is made by the people who make the SSV and while I have never used the SSV the SSV is known for high quality and the positive reviews on Da Buddha. Price wise Da Buddha is probably more expensive but I wouldnt think by much. If you really need a cheap scale and a grinder without a kief catcher than the other option may not be a bad idea but to have a grinder without a kief catcher is not what I recommend. With Da Buddha I do not grind up anything but cut it up as you would for using smoking papers. The outside of the unit gets barely warm and ive it on for a long time. I do not about the other model but I am not aware of issues with that but perhaps someone who owns can comment. Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and Enjoy! Da Buddha Warranty, in their words is: 3 Year Da Buddha Warranty Da Buddha comes with a 3 year warranty. This warranty covers everything but the glass. If anything happens within the warranty period, you send it to us and we take care of the issue. If after the warranty period is over, you can get anything replaced for $25 or less and this includes the shipping charge to ship it back to you via UPS. We would love to offer a longer warranty but nothing can last a lifetime. Pretty much Da Buddha has been designed to last many worry free years! Last edited by beezleb878 : 04-17-2008 at 08:43 PM. | You can get custom glass for a VaporWarez, too, but not as part of the original purchase. The aftermarket two-piece whips are so much easier to use that I'd buy one right off the bat. I can change screens in less than a minute. With the OEM whips, it often takes ten minutes and a lot of frustration (and sometimes wasted screens). If you're vaping high-potency bud, the screens tend to get clogged up pretty quickly. I just swap in a fresh one and throw the clogged one in a film can. When I get 10 or so in there, I clean them with alcohol and get a few drops of hash oil as a reward.

| no, the standard wand that comes with the DB does not have that issue. It comes with the same design used in their custom glass. An hourglass design that enables the quick change of the screen that all you do is put the screen in flip it press down down, literal seconds. They have effectively made it not a pain in the butt and comes as not additional cost where I guess with the other model you have to get a different wand. The custom glass does not really add function ability but cosmetic. Well except for the dial as the line on the standard dial is a bit hard to see but its not to big of a deal. I originally thought I would get a later date a custom wand but I like the standard. It is easy to clean and when I look at custom glass it seems to me that custom glass may not be so easy but custom glass is pretty cool though but with Da Buddha its only cosmetic as its already doing what other vapes tend to need other solutions for. | I have heard that the standard ssv wand they sell for 19.99 on thier website will work perfectly with a standard warez. does anyone know if this is true or have any experience with it? It would make a nice replacement if mine should ever break and it is pretty affordable. |

Im very excited for the strong high, and health aspects to using a vap. I will be ordering it in about another week after my spring semester ends at uni., and ill be sure to give a report on my experinces with it. |
