does it qualify as fiction¿

So your fact includes broad summaries of what happened? It fell flat on its face how? Did it fall off the table? Or did you mean it lost? How did it lose? How did you figure it lost? Did it tell you it lost? Or did the "couple" friends agree that it lost?
yeah, i didnt feel like taking the time to type out a detailed account, so i provided a quick summary. it produced hits that were not as thick and satisfying. no. uh...yeah¿ i have just stated how it lost. a 250(ish) and a 160 dollar machine produce hits that are much more pleasurable than the 400+ dollar machine. no, it was the general consensus of the room. yeah, thats kindof how these things work.

Did you make sure to set up any constants for the test? Did you measure the bud? Did you use the same amounts and kind of bud in your tests? Did you have the heat set correctly?
no, none of us are scientists, just stoners with different vaporizers. nope, we just ground up some trainwreck and some blueberry, put it in a pile and loaded each vape up to what its owner usually loads it to. we wanted to give each vaporizer a chance to shine, so in the end the ssv had about a .2 fill, the db a .3 and well, im not sure about the cano, i was busy loading the whips. yes, miraculously, we did have the heat set properly

So would an extension cord make it equal in this aspect?
of course, but they didnt ship an extension cord with the volcano, my friend that has it doesnt usually travel with one, and i dont have any in the house that are shorter than 25 feet, which is a little impractical for living room use.
Quote:

How large of a bag were you using? I can fill a 6 foot bag in a couple minutes at most... a 4 hit bag takes about 35 seconds.
i believe it was a 3 foot bag.
Quote:

Higher temperature? So you admit your tests were flawed...
as i stated earlier, the temps werent measured. never once was there any tasted threat of combustion from db, it simply kicked out massive hits. flawed¿ perhaps, perhaps. thats why i must investigate the db/ssv further
Quote:

So "shit eating grins" is your metric of choice for rating?
yes. take a proper hit off of a ssv or db and you will start registering on the seg table.
Quote:

Yes, keep up that "research". You may want to also buy a few kegs of beer with your buddies to determine once and for all which beer is factually the best.
oh, i will, thank you! i believe that vaporizers are wonderful additions to the wide world of weed, im sure the future holds much more for us vape lovers. im not much for alcohol tho, but if you would like an analogy, the ssv was hitting like a smooth jack daniels. db was kicking in like a shot of wild turkey. the hits from the volcano were like a shot of jack, mixed 50/50 with water.
Quote:

I agree it is a great machine from the many reviews I've read... but a volcano killer? You must be smoking some good shit to get to that conclusion.
yes, the pot we had was excellent indeed, some blueberry and trainwreck, mixed. db is without a doubt a volcano killer, with the money you save(from not buying a volcano), you could buy a second unit and a power inverter, so if you wanted to be mobile you could load it up in your car and take roadside breaks wherever you wish.

Here's the thing... if you posted this as some sort of "we had fun smoking with vapes" thing... then awesome... Seriously, sounds like a fun time.

But it really feels as if you posted this with some sort of serious intent of making it come across as real research instead of a bunch of guys getting high and having fun.
we did do it for a good time, and it was meant to be serious. some people work hard for their money, and if they come up to me and ask whether or not the volcano is worth all the hype, i can say for certain now what i have experienced, and what others have as well experienced first hand.

Well it's a shame this thread got turned into this.
Thanks tokin for posting this. Because of you and are your videos I:
a) joined this forum
b) bought a SSV
c) got my gf's, sister's bf's cousin a DB

I haven't tried a volcano and for the price I know I won't buy one. I love my SSV and it never fails to deliver.

Hehe Conky, I am almost the same except I have the DB. Those videos are what gave me the confidence to try this and I am oh so glad I did.

^ I know how couldn't you be glad lol it's amazing. I haven't smoked since early january now. I might try smoking again sometime soon just to feel how different the high is. I know my gf says when she smokes the odd time it's a different high. But there is no arguement on which high is better, healthier, cheaper, and lasts longer.

Red face

I cannot believe how biased and ridiculous these reviews are on both sides.
we should be trying to be informative not post bs
I OWN BOTH A SSV(almost same as db) AND A VOLCANO,

for starters, Ive had an ssv for almost 3 years and let me sum it up this way. I had my ssv stolen from me when my place got robbed a year ago and within only a week i got another one b/c well i couldn't live w/o it lol

recently i decided to see what else was out there and sure enough i decided to buy the most expensive and quality vape on the market. The volcano was the most suprising thing b/c i actually thought it was worth the money once i got blazed. the only downside is that it looks weird smoking from a bag, The upsides, I can now roll down the highway w.a bag of vape. And lets say I get pulled over, ill poke a hole in the bag and the evidence will eVAPORate

Definitely agree with the informative part, but I wouldn't go as far as calling previous posts "bs", even though I don't agree with comparing bag delivery to whip as far as vapor hits. I'm in the apples and oranges group, but people are going to compare them anyway.

I'd do the same.

Actually the 'cano isn't the most expensive and I don't like to see any vape singled out as better quality than all others. But there's no doubt that the 'cano would go to the top of the list of bag only units. Include me in the list of fans of both delivery methods. Each has its advantages.

For sure. But you'd have to give the edge to the bag as far as already having the vapor loaded in the bag and not having a vape in the vehicle if you got stopped. OTOH that empty bag won't do much good for the trip back.

oh, i agree completely. when stopped, having that wand/whip with all the particulates in there will be a bust for sure. as for the vaporizer itself....i dont think having that blatantly out in the open would raise much alarm with your average leo.

but that is why if you are going to be vaping or smoking in the car, PLEASE doso wisely.
personally, i dont believe a person should take a vape hit while driving. doesnt take but a couple of minutes to stop the car, take a couple massive rips, and then resume driving.

While I admit I have sucked on a bag while driving a few times, I don't recommend even being under the influence while driving, especially these days when so many people are driving while trying to hold a cell to their ear and carry on a conversation. My car use is almost strictly while I'm a passenger or parked. While driving under the influence of mj isn't in the same league with driving drunk, a blood test will still get you a DUI.
