|  The Vapolution will give you smooth hits, but the narrow bowl precludes big ones. If you're used to grinding your herb you'll have to get out of that habit. I have used a piece of herb as a screen and then loaded some ground stuff behind it, and it works fine horizontally too. You'll like the 8" glass bowl. Just be careful with it. By design, it has a couple of weak spots, as far as breakage.
