I just did that, it only made that cable/mechanically smell stink up half my room. I think I bought the reject of all vaporizers brand new.

Does anybody has a good suggestion for a vaporizer that won't break after the first time using it. I want to know what are the top vaporizers that will last almost forever. Money isn't an issue.

You might have received a faulty unit, because that is not normal for a Vapor Warez. It's under warranty for 5 years. Why don't you give Vapor Warez a call?

I've had my Vapor Warez over a year with no problems at all, and I run it all the time.

I don't think that 15 minutes is near enough.
If I were you, I'd do as Vicki recommends.

Regardless, I'd turn it on and just leave it on overnight. Or longer even.

Just curious. Have you checked the electrical outlet its plugged into?
When its smelling it's smell etc. take a hold of the cord end. Is it hot?

P.S. Don't be standing in the bathtub when you do it...

You should call the company you bought it from. It sounds like a defective unit. Some Vapes have a smell the first time you heat them up, it's just what I call the NEWNESS burning off, but in most cases it goes away after letting it heat up for 15 or 20 minutes before the very first use. Either try another one or go out and get a SSV. I love mine and have not had any problems with it since I got it (knock, knock, knock).

Sounds like it to me too. I've never had a bad smell from a vape. Vaporcannons are very good quality and very reliable. They have a 5 yr. warranty. Contact the company with a free call at 866-288-7795 or info@vaporwarez.com. I contacted them recently about some site info that turned out to be out of date. The following is a direct quote from Jason-

"All that is required for a warranty repair is a copy of your receipt. There is no need to register your purchase with us. Our warranty covers the heater and electronics in the box for 5 years. ....We have never turned down a warranty repair for one of our products."

I've heard that Vapolutions are made by Vapir and break down.
There is so much bad info out there. Vapolution is made by two electrical engineers named Scott and Patrick and the co. is Vapolution Vaporizer and Accessories. I've had one for about 2 yrs and mine still works fine. And the warranty is lifetime against manufacturer defects. Air-2 is the company that makes Vapir vapes.

I just want to buy a great vaporizer that doesn't stink in a bad way and will last a really long time.
Get yours fixed and it'll fit those requirements. If you'd rather junk it and buy something else you can certainly do that. You can read some threads here and easily find most of the high quality vapes you're looking for, and you'll see that the Vaporcannon is among them.

I agree, theres is something not normal happening but if you were looking to a new vape I suggest Da Buddha. Its so easy to use even I can use it hehe...

I would go the route to get yours fixed, if you still want a new one anyways you can always sell/gift or whatnot the repaired/exchanged one or just be extra cool and have two units for nerdy comparisons and such hehe.

Vapolution is made by Vapir?

Where did you hear that one? As far as I know there is no connection - they are totally different manufacturers.

Vapolution is one of the few all-glass air path vaporisers around. You are not sucking air that has come in contact with the element itself, only the glass that is heated by nichrom wire wrapped around it.

Could you provide a reference for the connection between Vapolution and Vapir please? In the absence of any such reference, I suggest you not make such assertions.

Where did you hear that Vapolutions break down? Again, references would be useful here.

There is enough muddying of the waters thanks to Wicked Roots already without people claiming unsubstantiated rumours on vaporiser forums.

Never used a vapolution but my understanding they are quality machines that fit a more specific crowd looking for the attributes that the vapolution has. Such as the all glass, portability, no screen needed and smaller bowls than most other vaporizers. To some this is a turn off but I have seen reviews and comments from people who have issue with inhaling big draws and thus I see this a positive for those with those issue, but like I said I have never tried a vapolution and my understanding is from reading only.

I'd contact Vaporwarez for warranty service. I've had a Vaporcannon for just about a year, and have never had any strange smells or any problems of any kind, for that matter. before badmouthing it to anyone who will listen, contact vaporwarez and see if they will make it right for you. AS it stands now, it seems you'vwe got a faulty unit, something that unfortunetly happens to most manufactureres once in awhile. Its certainly not a reflection on the overall quality of vaporwarez products, as out of many owners I'm familiar with, you seem to be the only one who has had this issue that I'm aware of
