Hey there guys. New to the site with some information and some questions.

First of all, thanks for being one of the only USEFUL sites for vaporizer info.

Anyway, on to the question: I have been re-using my bud, which I vape at a temp of 340 F. The bud that has been vaped once looks a brownish color, with specks of green. First ?: Is the greenish tint an indicator of how much available THC is left in the bud?

While I want to see feedback from that, I am more interested in hearing about your re-vaping experiences. For those of you that do this, how many times do you end up vaping your bud? How does it taste? Are there any dangers to re-vaping (I have heard that essentially because you are heating the bud again, it is in fact burning the toxins that vaping normally avoids. Any info on this would help)?

My experience is with the Digi Vapor VP-500. The unit operates pretty well, if not a bit slow for warming up and filling a bag. Its main problem, which I assume is due to it being manufactured in China, is its faulty circuiting. This normally causes no problems, but if the power switch is touched in the wrong way, it shuts it down. The problem also occurs when the air button is turned on. Occasionally the machine just shuts itself off, and so the buttons must be pressed again. But I digress! I would like to hear more about the Digi Vapor VP-500 in terms of quality and comparison to the Volcano unit tho. This is the only problem I have noticed as of yet.

So that's that for the VP-500 for me. My problem, however, comes into play when I re-vape with this thing. Mainly it's because I really don't know how re-vaped gas should be/taste/look.

Let me say it simply: everytime I re-vape my THC, the gas produced tastes horrible. It is so bad that the first attempt made me gag from inhaling it. Often I won't even really notice this until the end of my hit, as if it were an after-taste. But because I'm done with my hit, the lingering taste is there waiting, and it isn't rewarding.

Has anyone experienced something to this effect while re-vaping? Is this exactly what re-vaping is supposed to do, and I'm just not used to the taste? Please. I really need some feedback. Thanks again, guys!

Update: I tried a re-vaping at 365 and it seemed like much of the taste was eliminated by this, although I can still distinctly taste some form of burnt matter... whatever it is, it is now ignorable.

Regardless, I'd still like to hear about some re-vaping experience and the VP-500 DigiVapor.

I'd like to add that it seems the vp500 misses the outermost "ring" of THC when vaporizing. This is sometimes a tiny amount so its not really that big of a deal. Also, the machine makes a "brr"ing noise when vaporizing. Recently it has made a warp-like sound going soft to loud to soft. Strange :P


Edit: Oops didn't see this button. Anyway, the vp500 does leak however from the faulty seal mechanism. It is not so much to be significant when vaporizing, but it forces you to cover the hole to prevent the smoke from pouring out when on-the-go with the baggie.

From a healthy point of view, revapping is in my opinion not the best choice but still far better than actually smoking it.

I do not know about your vape so I have no information regarding that. Sorry I got little information but I would imagine that ring leftover makes your abv a bit better compared to abv that is more efficiently vaporized.

If your abv resembles plant material it still has life to give compared to crumbled dried abv. There are examples but also different types of variations of plant material will look different when vaped, some lighter or darker and whatnot.

I revape my weed if thats all I have, and I find that I can usually get 3-4 hits out of an average load of weed thats been vaped once previously, and it does certainly get me high. I discard it after its been vaped twice. Does it taste good....nope, but I don't vape it for the taste at that point!!!! If I'm revaping, it means I'm out of other weed, and as they say, "beggers can't be choosers". It works, but its not going to taste great, and it won't get you AS high as it did the first time, obviously

same here... I often vape atleast twice... sometimes 3 times if its still really green.

Then again, the bag i use isn't very big.
