Default 5Drive - Vaporizer scoop...

5Drive,
I for one, would love to have you give us a direct (blow by blow) comparison between what you consider to be the:
- Best whip vape in the marketplace today (regardless of price)
vs
- Vaporwarez's vaporcannon.

The reason?
Because there are a few excellent whip vapes that are quite expensive.
At the same time the Vaporcannon many also consider excellent while maintaining a low price point etc.

What do you think?

Define what you mean by best as that word is too subjective for what you are asking. Define your question so different vapes could be more accurately compared.

Are you talking about digital, analog or both? Just straight up whip or multi type (bags). Do you mean direct draw and/or assisted air?

From a direct draw standpoint I recommend the SSV and Da Buddha based on several factors. When I was researching vapes I checked many many boards and even spoke to the guy down at our local head shop who way over prices his vapes but I digress sellers are opinions need a grain of salt with this type of information.

Anyways, long story short the SSV is pretty much the accepted best hitter and the DB comes very close if not equal by some views but I still think the SSV is the better though I must state I have never used an SSV.

I would like to take the pepsi challenge as they say with these vapes along with the vapor cannon but I do not know anyone who even owns a vaporizer thats not Da Buddha. Those I know all bought Da Buddha's based on the experience with mine but I must state they also had zero experience or any real knowledge about vapes so that is not worth putting weight into and only 3 vapes in total though.

Looking forward to others views.

Thats why I worded it the way that I did.
I'll leave it up to 5Drive

Again, it's why I titled the thread as I did.

That's odd. I don't know anyone who owns Da Buddha. Most people I know use a Vapor Warez, and I know people that use Vapor Brothers and Volcano.

Thanks for puttin' me on the spot sterbo.

I don't believe there's a best. You get to a certain level of quality and it becomes a matter of personal preference. You could make various catagories, rate them in each, and pick an overall 'points winner', but agreeing on a best in a particular catagory might be hard. Judges might agree on 'fastest warmup' or even 'ease of use', but 'best hits'? That's preference. Some might think a $500+ price tag and forced air digital makes a vape a contender. I don't like forced air, and digital, though I like the high tech toy aspect, is less reliable than a simple analog. The standard Vaporcannon would win my vote for 'best value', since the cheap 'made in China' boxes have no warranty and questionable parts and construction. I love the SSV heater angle but I wouldn't trust ground glass hands free with it, long term. I love the Vapor Snake for ease of use, but I don't care for the hits. The Vapolution, SSV, and DB are 3 I can think of that are tops in 'clean vapor path'. I think it's great we have a nice, varied selection of quality vapes, and I wouldn't attempt to pick a best. If you send me a Vaporcannon though, I'll be glad to A-B it with my SSV.

Hey, the cream of the crop rise to the top, under pressure. Good post bro.

However, it seems I misstated my question. You have solid experience with a lot of vapes , as evidenced by your many great posts here. So, my question was really meant to be more like this:

Hypothetically speaking -
You're looking to buy a vape and are simply (for better or for worse) going to rely on 5Drive's gut response.
You say, 'Listen bro, I want a whip vape. I can spend whatever I need to, money isn't the issue. But why spend more than I have to eh?
You know, like, 'best bang for the buck'.

So 5Drive, if you were in my shoes, given what you know and given that I want to make a decision right now, which one would you buy?
The Vaporcannon which you and so many others give consistent high marks and many rave about in a positive way?
Or one of the few others that you give high marks but are a lot more expensive.

So thats it straight and simple. Don't tell me about this or that attribute etc.
Just tell me - gut instinct -

'sterbo, ok, I hear ya, hmm, yep, best bang for the buck? I'd buy the..........'

No pressure, it's just a gut check thing. Sometimes it works better that way...

.

While thats all well and good, I recommend and I am sure he does as well that people look at a variety of sources/research before selecting a vape.

At the end of the day all you are asking him is what is his vape of choice, why not just ask what vape do you use most?

OMG, Obviously we all recommend research etc as a part of any buying strategy Don't make this so complicated. You ask your questions and let me ask mine. Fair?

No need to get testy sterbo, he was only trying to help.

Here is my problem. If you only care about 5Drive's opinion on this why don't you private message him? There is no need to start a thread for the BOARD, for only ONE person to reply to.
5Drive may know a whole lot about vaporizers, but there are a lot of people around here that know their stuff on the issue. It's unfair to everyone else, and it deters people from answering with useful information when you are only asking for one persons opinion...

You ask your questions, and let everyone answer. Fair?
