Just got my Da Buddha, love it so far. Just wondering, do I need to keep the wand in the heat when I'm not drawing, or do I pull it out and only put it back in before a draw?

| I'm sure you'll get some info from someone with the same vape, but in general, it's one of those learning curve things with whip vapes- how long you can leave it connected without too much ambiant heat building up. You can also leave the wand connected longer than usual if you turn down the heat. My SSV heats up fast and I imagine the DB does too, so that may be a good option too, depending on the situation.

As long as your using it and not taking big breaks its fine, at least with mine anyways. If more than say 5 minutes of non use I would take it out.

I noticed that when I take my wand out, even after taking a hit, vapor rises from the bowl. So I'm gonna play it safe and take it out between hauls from now on. You'll definitely save hits from the goods not getting so heated. I also have a question.. is it okay to pack a little vape ash in your wand, before the fresh stuff, so that you can still get good hits off .05-.1's? I find if I only put that much by itself it doesn't deliver very strong hits. Last edited by wildtiger : 05-07-2008 at 11:21 PM.

ABV will not harm you. It taste nasty with significant lower effects in my opinion and you may be getting some extras in the vapor that you don't get at lower temps but it is still much better than smoking.

What I did last night, which seemed to work well, was we would take a large hit to draw the vapor in, then I'd pull it out slightly from the heating source. Far enough away that the wand would cool down, but still in the glass so that the vapor doesn't get away. Seemed to work pretty well. Thanks guys! I'm loving my Buddha. Such an amazing vaporizer.
