Well, I have just decided to buy a vaporizer, I've been wanting a volcano for a long time now, but I lack the 500 dollers it asks for. Can anyone here help me in choosing a vaporizer, that would cost around two hundred dollers. Your help is much appreciated

Check out the SSV and Herbalaire, they have both been reviewed on this site.

You only mention the Volcano. You can't go wrong with the 'cano, but you don't have to pay $500+ to get a good one. The two models vern mentioned are both excellent (I use both of them myself), but the herbalAire is mostly for bag use (direct draw is very functional, but not satisfying), and the SSV is direct draw/whip only. Do you want quick and easy vapor (pretty much the same hits each and every time) with no learning curve (bag), or do you want big, vapor rich hits-some smooth, some not so smooth, some not big at all (whip)? Another vape that would give you both whip and bag use is the Extreme. It's better than the herbalAire for whip use IMO, but not as satisfying as the $120 Vaporcannon for whip hits, again IMO. But it will give you more ways to get vapor than any other. It's also $300. At $250, the herbalAire is also over your target price, as is the SSV. If you decide on whip only, the SSV's younger brother, the Da Buddha, is an excellent value, as is the Vaporcannon. You do need to know that bagged vapor is somewhat diluted by the air pumped into the system. That's also what makes a bag unit so consistent in temperature and vapor delivery. It's not that you get less vapor from your herb with a bag unit. It's just a different vapor to air mixture. For people with sensitive lungs or lung related medical issues, I would recommend a bag unit. For people that want 'bong like' hits, the whip only units are usually a better choice.

Oh, and the vapor smoke you exhale certainly does have an odour, not unlike really dry, dank shake. So a can of air freshener is also a good idea. I'd maybe get a replacement wand in case too. I've already knocked mine a few times so I'll be ordering another ASAP. It would suck to be vapeless for a month because you need to order a new wand. Would headshops be able to get them in quicker?
