| I've been using whip-type vapes for a couple of years now. As my expertise has increased, I've tried various techniques with varying results. I'd like to discuss techniques with other whip vape users. 1. Low and Slow Set the VaporCannon to 12'o'clock, allow it time to warm up, load the whip with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ground bud. Toke slowly and gently, watching to make sure that the load doesn't ignite. Approximately 10 hits per load. The first three or four are potent, then fades away to almost nothing by the tenth. Some danger of accidental ignition. 2. Low and Fast Set the VaporCannon to 12'o'clock, allow it time to warm up, load 1/4 inch in the whip. Toke as hard as you can. Pulling the air through the weed quickly doesn't give it time to overheat: draw fast is cooler than draw slow. Approximately 6 hits per load. First two are intense, tapering off to nothing by the 6th. Leaves more green in the ABV than Low and Slow, but more intense hits and fewer. 3. High and Fast I took a look at the VripTech website a couple of days ago and read their piece about their Superior Vaporization Technique (SVT). They promote using a heat gun with a glass pipe, bubbler, or bong. The SVT calls for a blitzkrieg approach: hot air, a large volume of air, and a rapid draw. This results in very complete vaporization with only a few tokes. I can't reproduce the volume of hot air a heat gun produces, but I can turn my vape up higher and draw as hard as I can. I've tried this the last couple of days with great success. I set the VaporCannon to 1:30 - 2:00, load 1/8 inch of weed into the whip, and draw as hard as I can. If you don't draw really hard at this temperature setting, you're likely to ignite the weed. You should always keep an eye out for accidental ignition and stop before you hurt your lungs with harsh smoke. I get 3 great hits out of a load, at which point it's exhausted. It's counterintuitive, but if your vape is drawing too hot, what you need to do is speed it up, not slow it down. The heater puts out a constant amount of energy. By drawing fast, you distribute that energy over a larger volume of air, making it cooler.

| All 3 of your methods I recognize by my own techniques, its nice you have titles for them -- otherwise I would be talking in really abstract terms and that wouldn't get us very far, haha Your right that the Low and Fast method produces the most and best AVB. It's probably the healthiest of all three if thats what your really aiming for. Honestly though, I really prefer the High and Fast method the best. I can use a smaller amount of herb and take a few potent hits of a small portion of weed, instead of sucking on the whip for a long time getting smaller hits. The High and Fast method always works the best in conjunction with my vapor-bong setup. Anything else and I may as well just be using the whip. For kief though, I like using the Low and Slow. I tend to get the most hits out of before the kief disappears. It's hard vaping kief sometimes because you think a bowl is cashed but you can't really tell if you have some bud mixed in with it. | I tend to mix them up... start off with 2 or three hits of low and slow, and then 1 or 2 of low and fast, and then 1 of High and fast. I find that gives me the most over all use out of the same amount of weed, all things being equal. ![]()

| Cool post, Buzzby! I've got a Vaporbrothers vaporizer which I use for almost all of my sessions and I've always done Low and Slow. Might be time for a bit of experimenting though. ![]()
