I'm glad someone threw the VaporTower in there, I have one and absolutely love it - apparently it has a lifetime warranty on the heating element as well. The original towers aren't being made anymore now the Extreme is here but I just received word from the manufacturer that there will be a 'budget' version of the Extreme coming out very soon. I can't say how it compares to other vapes because I've only used the tower and one of those horrible cheap ones but I've just bought some spares off the website and the customer service I received was second to none. I seem to remember that there have been some questionable claims made by the guy, the product is very good though. Anyway, it's worth considering.

I agree, for a multi use vape this one seems be the top of its class, best at none but good all around. If I was looking for a multi use vape I would likely go with the extreme.

As an owner of the VTower... NOT a vaportower... I was interested to see MasTakeOff mention "but I just received word from the manufacturer that there will be a 'budget' version of the Extreme coming out very soon." This is a nice unit... that once you understand the warmup time.. is great and doesn't have all the bells and bags and digital crap hanging on it.. I am heartened to know that a cheaper (and does this mean simpler?) unit is on its way? I hope so. SSV did this with daBuddha and it seems to be working well for them.. Pls post here or PM me if any one knows if this rumor is true. mtm

Bit late now, but I have a da buddah, vapolution and a herbalaire, all under $200 I think, and of all of them, I would never give up the herbalaire with its bag filling. Whilst I use all three, the herbalaire is more efficient and consistent than the direct draw vapes, and is just so well designed I cant fault it whatsoever (so long as you dont try and direct draw with it ![]() Things like auto off, fast warmup, and no learning curve whatsoever when you introduce people to it make it better than the others imo. Having said that, if i just had it by itself, id still buy direct draw vape for variety and stuff ![]() note: I havent tried similar bag filling vapes like the extreme, so I cant comment on them

The Extreme's advantage over the herbalAire is in whip mode. It's just more enjoyable to use as a whip vape, although it moves too much air to compete with a good 'whip only' vape, at least for my taste. With bag use, there really isn't much difference between these two or even the Volcano. Consistent air flow and a steady temp are equalizers when it comes to filling a bag. | |
