I was a bit suspect of this video at first...until I saw another one with the same results!

Whoa that was wild. I havent carried one in years but just recently got one again. Yikes.

Makes me wonder how much exposure people in the industry get and what it will end up causing..

There are also speculations that the microwaves from phones that makes the corn pop, could also be why some birds and insects seem to be dropping dead for no apparent reason!

I work with a lot of folks that are tethered to those every day...and even walk around like 'RoboCop' with those Bluetooth devices hanging from their ears.

Makes me wonder what kinda long-term affects there could be from pummeling their grey-matter with that!

damn, thats not good and i carry a cell phone, im gonna have to try that, i'll post the video if it works, but wow that is an eye opener to the radiation that the actually emit

Weird, this video must be spreading like wildfire. I saw it yesterday, along with some others like it. I read up on it, and of course, its a complete hoax. They dont cause enough radiation to raise the temperature of the popcorn, especially enough to pop. If that were the case, everything would be heating up, and fires would be exponentially higher from phones.

I've always respected Snopes' content. It's dispelled quite a bit of rumor and internet folklore for me.

But what they DIDN'T mention...is how is it done?

They also mention the experiment in question was with TWO cell phones! Maybe it takes THREE for it to work!

I am going to try this as soon as I can and give you all the skinny. If anyone else has access to at least 6 cellphones they should try too. Next time I am with a bunch of my friends I am going to see if we can't do it (at a party or something)

I read the Snopes thing but still. I dunno... kinda cool either way
