| Literally, his eyes were removed when he was three years old due to cancer. He has since mastered echolocation, as you will see in the video he can rollerblade, avoid obstacles, pillow fight, and stomp you in a video game. ![]() |

| I just read about this on Cracked. It is insane I didn't know people could do echolocation. But people with disabilities will do anything to compensate. He can even play video games

| Yeah, I saw this on 20/20 (or Dateline) a while ago. Phenomenal stuff. Imagine if a human could master echolocation and retain his vision -- you'd be one sneaky, alert bastard! Sounds like a job requirement for a ninja. I think that Dr. is right, I don't think the story is his accomplishment, but his attitude. Talk about one helluva success story, I'm sure by now this kid is destined for something great..

| No doubt, his positive outlook (no pun intended) on life is astounding. I could see him counseling troubled youths with his story of overcoming life's dealings... or anything else he sets his mind to for that matter. |

| I remember hearing about this story awhile ago... Then I tried to shut my eyes and use echolocation to navigate my household. Needless to say, I miserably failed. ![]()

| I wonder how long it would take to develop a skill like this. Like, could you go under some sort of training, where you blindfold yourself for a period of time, and be able to do this? Imagine being able to have sight AND echolocation. You'd be some sort of....super hero....BAT MAN! (or dolphin man?) ![]() |
