YouTube - Official 2008 Olympics Song: Please...

This song cracked me up. I don't care if it's an accurate representation of China or not (I'm not sure to be honest), it was just hilarious to me at the time.

"please ignore the communism" seems forgetful that... China isn't really communist. Its ruling party is just an authoritarian regime that gained power under communist inertia and promises, and is now corrupt, as well as ideologically and morally bankrupt.

To be honest, I don't know where I stand in the China/Olympics fiasco.

I'm not a fan of the Chinese government and their ways, but the Olympics are suppose to be above governments/politics. These lyrics are humorous to a lot but I just find it typical Chinese ridicule, which gets old, fast.

I did find the song in Chinese very enjoyable. I wish I could actually see the lyrics, it really was a beautiful song. It dig it.

Well, that was fairly cute.

Even though racism isnt fun, I dont see this as racial humor at all. This is just humorously criticizing a type of government.

That being said I liked it, and I wonder what it actually means...

Also, Jackie Chan's is awesome and its cool that he was in there...

I think the song is really pretty. But this song cracks me up every time I hear it stoned.

I was going to boycott the Olympics but I forgot about gymnastics. I love gymnastics!Plus, I have to admit, their opening ceremony was pretty cool.
