The Borg were my favorite villians, but species 8472 wasn't bad either!

Moriarty was good too....an opponent capable of defeating Data. Big mistake.

Star Trek loved to screw up, that's for sure.

There were just too many details for them to keep track of, especially between all the different series. They did, at times, try to explain things away. The best example of that was the original conflict with why the Klingons looked human in the original series.
Worf said it was something that the Klingons didn't like talking about.
And then in Enterprise, we found out it was a result of DNA splicing between Klingon and Human Augment DNA.

Because Star Trek Enterprise was done last, I saw all kinds of potential for screw up's. I just wish they could have come up with a good explanation for the Klingon "appearance difference" (lack of brow ridges) before that.

I did like how they did the Borg episode in ST Enterprise, though. I thought it tied in nicely with ST First Contact.

That was one of the saving graces about Enterprise is that it tied up a lot of loose ends and filled in some blanks.
I always wondered on the original series what those things were on the Andorians heads.
