First one shows the size of our world in the scheme of things, compared first to other planets then to other stars, ending with the largest known. Might be worth clicking through and watching full screen. Second one is more real science.


This one is the first ever visible light proof of extra-solar planets, from the NASA/ESA space telescope. Things are starting to get interesting, the successor to Hubble should have a mirror several times the surface area so we'll see lots of interesting things before too long. If they fund it.
