I see no problem with it.

Things could have gone smoothly but she decided to go out of control.
You will get zapped if you don't follow orders from law enforcers, that's just the way it is.

Hahaha yea...the other officers are like, It doesnt matter how old you are, you go up against the police and you will be taken down. Or something haha, sure man, but it's an old lady....a tazer gun was WAY too intense..hahah. He could have handled her.. Or he could plead that he didn't know what kind of weapons she had on her...or something to get around it.

Why handle her when zapping her does the job even more efficiently? See how quick she got on the ground and put her hands behind her back? Handling her would have caused further physical implication, she would have continued to resist, and the cop would have wasted his time on a traffic stop that could have taken 10 mins tops.

And being old doesn't mean you're not dangerous. An 88 yr old killed 2 people at a Holocaust museum this week... 88 years old man.

And I've mentioned this on here before, traffic stops are the easiest way to get killed if you're a police officer. I don't blame dudes for being jumpy like that.

Tazer's are fuckin brutal and cops in America are way too trigger happy. There is something totally shocking and degrading about an old woman being electricuted. She wasn't doing any harm atall and if she was going to pull out a weapon (so unlikely) she's probably isn't and should NOT be a faster draw than the cop. Cops can pull all that ohh it was for my safety bullshit but at the end of the day are you really that stupid to think it would be warranted in these circumstances. Pigs.

I agree I've been tazed for no reason before its not pleasant at all. He could have definitely approached his situation differently by simply grabbing her wrists and cuffing her from the front like they are supposed to with a female... *elderly at that..

I'd like to see what happened B4 the start of the vid. I really don't see a problem here. SHE could have avoided the whole thing by just listening to the officer. Yeah, he could have just grabbed her and wrestled her to the ground and cuffed her but WHY take the chance. I actually think he did the right thing by tazzing her because I would guess that she has a greater chance of serious injury wrestling the cop than she would getting tazzed. And them to top it all off this same video would have been posted saying" OMG this huge cop manhandled a poor old lady. It a no win situation for the cop so why not play it safe. And I do realize there are a lot of overzealous, dick-head cops on power trips out there, but like anything else there are also the ones just trying to do there jobs.
