I'm just wondering what everyone thinks.

This forum seems to me to have great potential for educational purposes. Videos about the war on Marijuana and how to grow it and how to make hash and all that other stuff could potentially change some minds or at least open them.

Cool Links seems to me to be the place to post random videos. That way people don't have to filter through the videos that contain no marijuana information.

I haven't voted yet because I kind of see a gray area. Do you consider "marijuana related videos" videos that have pot smoking in them or obviously baked participants or actors like how they do That 70's show or show marijuana? One of these or a combination of these?

Well, I was considering it any video that shows cannabis use or is about the subject of cannabis.

But good idea to get clarification so we are all on the same page cause somebody else might be thinking differently.

I personally think that it should be a forum that we can post all videos that are either about, containing, or enjoyable while under tha influence of weed.

I think that cool links is more or less for fun OFF tha boards...linking to another cool site. Marijuana videos should be a place for cool vids that can be enjoyed right here at home. This is tha Lounge, after all, not cheaptalk...this spot was designed for kicking back and toking as opposed to debating all aspects of activism and legality.

What if we had a sub-forum for non-marijuana-related videos?

I was going to include that in my question but I couldn't word it right. it wasn't that hard but you hit it right on the head. You know someone who puts up a lot of funny videos and in the right forums is Dark Pervert. He spends some time on youtude. I was watching the video he linked about F***in short version Pulp Fiction. He put it in the movies ection but I thought it could go in marijuana videos because Pulp Fiction has a lot of drug use in it and the clip was very funny and can be enjoyed while baked. Problem is not everybody's tastes are the same. I have seen people post things that are like "this is hilarious, watch it stoned" and I was bored out of my mind. If people really exhibited good taste and common sense and some restraint then post away in the mJ video section.

Not too thrilled with the subforum idea...I try to stay away from subforums as much as possible.

For point/counterpoint on the last few posts:
If strictly cannabis related videos, what a great resource to actually educate and entertain on this subject, which should be near and dear to our hearts...

We have examples of educational with videos such as Marijuana and Driving, Jack Herer Speaks and A nice example of grow room security as well as entertainment with The daily shows medical marijuana segment, The Cannabis Cup 2003 and A Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert clip on MM.

These gems can get lost among the girls going poo in hottubs.

I enjoy looking at the funny non-related video's that people on the forum enjoy. Then again you make a good point about not having to look for weed related video's... I just fear the thread would only get a new video like once a month lol.

I decided to vote for weed related...
