hm ya. My theory is that hes a methhead.

Ive done lots of heavy smoking and then stopped right away and ive had not 1 problem and I slept though and ate fine. From my personal experiences as well weed compares nothing to cocaine and it's effects/after effects.

His theory imo is mostly wrong, I have yet to meet someone who is addicted to smoking marijuana and I know some very heavy smokers.

i dunno. i think there could be some proof in it. i also believe that it is on a person-to-person basis (not everyones brain is the exact same), and it also maters how chronic the individual is. someone who tokes once a day wont feel this, someone who tokes for a couple hours might not either... someone who is high all, i believe would most likely feel these side effects.

this theory is backed by scientific evidence. NOT saying i believe it (personally i dont have an opinion here... i havent even thought about it, nor do i realy care -- its fun, who cares ) but he does present some rather interesting and compelling thoughts.


on a side note, i totally agree -- most annoying guy, ever.

This theory proves a really good point, as it IS true and what this guy says is right BUT the thing is those arnt really symptoms of an addiction for real im sure I could go a few days with a bad mood and a little sleep deprived, thats nothin compared to real addiction like the DT's or Withdrawls where you can die so although this has a good point its not enough to say its addictive because all this has proved is that it may be slightly addictive to the mind but nothin about the body.

Since he is discussing a scientific subject, and wrongly uses the word theory, I dont see why anyone should give him the time of day. He has a hypothesis, not a theory.

I agree with Lit match mostly, some people can swim in drugs and be fine, while some people shouldn't even drink coffee or soda. Maturity is probably the major factor, but everyone has a different system also, some have faster/slower metabolisms, different chemical balances, different diets, ect.

My thoughts are those who are "addicted" to weed aren't showing a real addiction so much as a symptom, escapism, to some larger issue in their lives. I know a lot of "burnouts" and every one I know wasn't wrapped too tightly to begin with.....

I assume too much, but he is using a screen name that mimics a major beer label, he kinda strikes me as one of those people who drinks a lot and then puts down people who smoke pot.

edit: I'm ashamed to admit it. I had a problem with cocaine when I was young( in the 80s), and quiting coke is NOTHING like quiting pot. You quit pot and you get grumpy, you quit coke and you feel like you're gonna die.
