How to embed a video in your post!!!

It depends on the video server. there are different tags for different video players. The three that I know work are Youtube, Break, and Google.

Basically, you put the video ID between the tags. The video identifier is formatted differently for different services.

To embed this video, you'd enter this into a post: [YOUTUBE]46LQd9dXFRU[/YOUTUBE]

Here's a Google video ID: -2186262306858602845
Here's a link to a Google video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...62306858602845

As you can see, it's very similar to a YouTube video, only the video ID is after the ?docid=.
So to embed the Google video, you enter:
[GOOGLE]-2186262306858602845[/GOOGLE]

[GOOGLE]-2186262306858602845[/GOOGLE]

Break.com
Here's a Break.com video ID: MjA5NDUz
Here's a link to the video: http://www.break.com/index/icy_roads_in_portland.html

It's a little trickier to get the video ID. If you click on the Embed & Blog link, you'll get a bock on the right side of the page labelled Embeddable Player.
Copy all that, and you'll find something similar to

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://embed.break.com/MjA5NDUz"></param><embed src="http://embed.break.com/MjA5NDUz" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

See the video ID in there? Put that in the proper tags for a Break.com video like so:

I also don't know how to do that one or any videos from ebaums world. I tried one from ebaums world and couldn't get it to work but the ones from youtube i don't have any problems with anymore.

With the new change, It looks like all you have to do ( for you tube) is copy and paste the url in the post, and you should be good to go.
