If adults smoke marijuana it's our choice. If we drink alcohol it's our choice, if people smoke tobacco it's their choice. If we get health issues from those drugs it should be our problem, no one elses. Just because marijuana becomes legal if it does, doesn't mean all drugs will be legalized, it's just another scare tactic for people to vote against marijuana legalization. Medical marijuana users could care less about the side effects when some have serious health problems that are more dangerous than marijuana itself. They also aren't using marijuana just to get high, they only use as much as they need for their condition. Pharmacy's will give people pills to take for the rest of their lives that cause health problems, cause liver damage, heart problems, etc and no one says to ban their drugs.

Smoking marijuana should be done in moderation but I don't think anyone should be telling adults to stay away from it. Legal or not people just do what they want and using marijuana is a victimless crime.

The people that argue against marijuana for medical reasons, some of them are probably just speakers for drug companies that get paid to go on shows like CNN and give all kinds of arguements that marijuana is dangerous. They make claims that in 10 or 20 years this could happen or that could happen. People that used vioxx for 2 years, over 100,000 people died, had massive heart attacks, went into coma's, some of the surivors are messed up for life and can no longer function. Marijuana hasn't had that effect on people where it puts them into nursing homes.

basicly marijuana should stay illegal because it may lead to resporatory infections and increased anxiety, plzz smoke cigs we would much rather you lose a lung or your life. BULLSHIT man, they over exagerate so damn much.

Since Vioxx, and a lot of drugs like it, were recalled, then black labeled, people like me have had no real choices for pain relief. (Anti-inflammatory) "Don't use marijuana, take these pills." Not me, not anymore. I am sick of all the damn bad side effects, and possibility of death. I'll stick to vaporizing marijuana, thank you. Doctors and drug companies are really giving people a lot of choices.
