I am TOTALLY doing this tonight with my buddy. Is everybody supposed to use glass pipes? Or can we use a bong, joint, blunt, bub, whatever?

Personally, I think it'd be cooler if they were all bowls/pipes/waterpipes. It'd be slightly more cohesive if we were all using a handheld piece, instead of joints/blunts/bongs. Just my 2 cents, though. I'm a participant, not the one calling the shots.

I suppose another idea that would accommodate everyone's paraphernalia-of-choice would be to have one for bowls (and water/pipes), and one for joints/blunts (or one for joints and one for blunts).

I disagree. I think it will really add personality and whatnot to the movie if all the participants used the smoking tool that was the most meaningful to them, or the one they liked best. No need to be restrictive!

As far as movie time, I agree with Darque, 30 seconds should suffice, maybe even 15. From my own experimentation, I'm guessing there won't be any clips over 10MB if kept in the 15-45 second range.

Also as far as the YouTube idea, I'm not sure how I would get it back onto my computer, has anyone actually tried this? But I honestly think it will be fine to just use 10MB or less clips, that leaves quite a bit of room, as I said earlier.

Edit: Also abut legality, I wouldn't worry about it, I'm pretty sure it won't find its way back to you, because there isn't really any other personal information around to trace it back to you. Now if you usually post alot of personal information, perhaps, but that would be unrelated to the movie.

If you're a user of Mozilla FireFox, there's a nice little extension called "Video Ook" that will pull video clips right from youtube, among other embedded video sites. I say it's gotten to the point where it's even easier to use than standard linked downloading.

In the vid I posted that started this whole idea, I made damn certain to show only the lower half of my face. That wasn't just a bad camera angle. That was intentional.

And I didn't get my goodie bag yesterday as I'd hoped. This weekend, I'm certain
