420 Lounge Group Toke Session

Alright, so I don't know how many of you have been following this idea in Darque's thread, but essentially, I am putting together a massive group smoke session video.

I will patch the movies together, so that it looks like we are passing the bowl around, and I will most certainly add some appropriate music to go along with it.

For those who wish to partake (yes, you):

Simply take a small movie clip, not sure about sound, although I do know that some cheaper digital cameras are not able to take movies with sound. I will most likely be adding the music anyways, so its not vital.

An 'ideal' clip would be "getting the bowl" from the right side of the filmed area, taking a hit, then "passing" the smoking device off the left hand side. It would be especially cool to have everyone use their favorite smoking device to add variety. The movies should be in some normal format, I think .avi would be the best, but nothing too crazy. As far as sending them to me; maybe e-mail would be the best route?

I'm looking forward to putting this together, and I'll start when I've got a few clips to work with.

I'm hoping to get a video here soon, just gotta figure out how to take one of my self taking a hit outside. The file might be to big for an email, so I might just have to post on here or something. We'll see.

Good point. Although I can't imagine that they would be much larger then the 10MB file size limit on Yahoo, its possible. Maybe we could use FTP? Any ideas?

Sweet, this is a good project idea. As soon as I have more weed and some free time, I'll definitely make a video. Matter of fact, I'll get my room mates in on it, too (unless it's exclusive to 420 Loungers).

Does gmail allow for larger attachments? Isn't there a website dedicated to uploading videos? Not youtube - I'm talking about a site that keeps formats intact. I'll try to sniff it out if it's important, but 10MB should probably suffice.

haha it's gonna be funny watching like a pass and then different bowls and stuff...
you should have all the people try and get a similar background to make it look more real or whatever.
I'd participate but my phone (vx9800) only takes 15 second videos =\

Nahh. Why exclude others from participating in our awesome film! Besides, perhaps they would come to The Lounge to view the film, and become members. Anyways, I think Gmail is the same, but I would have to check to be sure. After recording a 45 second movie on my fairly good quality camera, it weighed in at 16.7MB. Odds are we are going to have to locate a better way to send the movie clips my way. I will look into it.

Damn, thats a pretty badass idea. I'd love to get in on that except i only have a 30 sec camera, i dont think thatd be enough time to do it proper.

Fuck, this is the best idea I have ever heard. I'm gonna get filming on the weekend when I got to my friends house. Is he allowed in the clip too????
