Look, I love weed as much as the next guy, but this kind of stuff hurts our cause. I don't condone drugging anyone with anything without their full consent. Who's to know if most of these people never tried marijuana, or haven't in a long time? They'd get a potent high from eating it, and probably start freaking out, have no idea what's going on (they could be going insane, for all they know). Then, when that hellish experience is over, they learn that MARIJUANA is in the muffins, and fight twice as hard to keep it illegal. They'll think that one bad or unpleasant experience (a person could have an anxiety attack from this) represents the effects that most people feel. This kind of thing maybe funny to think about, but it's a TERRIBLE idea to execute.

Please, before you give your teachers weed muffins and allow the media to make a frenzy about it, reversing all our hard work in showing that marijuana is not harmful, think about the consequences.

I hate news stations that make a big deal out of nothing, my local news station went undercover and caught some college hockey players who were a day short of being 21 drinking at a bar and made a huge deal out of it for weeks, retarded.

During high school, a kid I know drugged our assistant principle with LSD and she went home "sick"

Come on, seriously? I agree that giving it to people without consent is bad, but that coverage was overreacting. Since when was there a "dangerous level" of THC, ever? Even with the hemp oil method, it wouldn't be THAT bad unless someone was willing to put mass amounts of the stuff in the mixture.

Now, if they actually found diphenhydramine in the muffins, that would be serious. Doses large enough could have some pretty harmful effects.

So apparently this is last year's news, but they did find Benadryl in the muffins...which is pretty stupid. What's even worse is while they say it made 18 people "ill" only one was admitted to the hospital. Yay for media sensationalism. I'm glad I barely watch TV these days.
